Data supporting the thesis "An empirical investigation of the effects of empathy of apology and monetary compensation on customers’ revenge desires after double deviations"

    No full text
This data supports the thesis entitled "An empirical investigation of the effects of empathy of apology and monetary compensation on customers’ revenge desires after double deviations" authored by Lucia Lowri Silvestro. The zip file contains the raw data from the two pre-screening studies, two pilot studies and three main studies. The research design is explained in the thesis. Details of the experimental protocols are provided in the thesis appendices and the analyses and results and outcomes of the project are provided in the thesis. Some information has been removed from the dataset to ensure anonymity of research participants and respect the privacy of participants

Research code supporting the publication “Designing a set of criteria for evaluating Artificial Neural Networks trained with physics-based data to replicate Molecular Dynamics and other particle methods trajectories”

    No full text
Supplementary material for the manuscript 'Designing a set of criteria for evaluating Artificial Neural Networks trained with physics-based data to replicate Molecular Dynamics and other particle methods trajectories.' by Alessio Alexiadis. It contains four Jupyter notebooks used to carry out the calculations in the manuscript. They require pytorch. A README file is provided in the contents of the folder with details on the code use and Creative Commons license

Research data and code supporting the publication "Effect of coat-protein concentration on the self-assembly of bacteriophage MS2 capsids around RNA"

    No full text
This repository contains the simulation code and data used to generate Figure 5 and Supporting Figures S3 and S4 in the article titled "Effect of coat-protein concentration on the self-assembly of bacteriophage MS2 capsids around RNA". In long_polymer we share the data used to produce Figure 5 and Supporting Figure S3, and short_polymer contains the data used to produce Supporting Figure S4

Research data supporting the publication "Global atmospheric methane uptake by upland tree woody surfaces"

    No full text
Data included in this file contains methane fluxes from tree stems which is the main data from Gauci et al 2024 published at Nature. The dataset contains 6 different variables: Location: place where stem fluxes were measured (i.e. Cuniã in Brazil, Gigante in Panama, MOYA in Brazil, Skogaryd in Sweden and Wytham in the United Kingdom. Species: tree species identity where each measurement was performed. "Multiple species" is assigned to Cuniã and MOYA, since species identity was not recorded. Plot_no: For certain locations, trees were distributed in different plots or areas Height: stem height where each chamber measurement was performed, measured from the ground. Units: meters Tree_no: unique identifier of measured trees Stem_flux: methane flux from tree stems measured with portable greenhouse gas analysers using closet chambers. Units: µg CH4 m-2 hr-

Effect of treadmill exercise on the mouse gastrocnemius proteome assessed via spike-in SILAC quantitative proteomics

    No full text
WT C57BL6 mice (N=3 per group) carried out a 90 min treadmill running protocol, starting with a speed of 4 meters/min, with 2 meters/min increments every 10 min until 24 meters/min (Exercise). Resting controls were placed on the motionless treadmill for the same duration. After euthenasia, the gastrocnemius muscle was homogenised in lysis buffer (50mM TRIS (pH 7.5), 1mM EDTA, 150mM NaCl, 0.1% Sodium deoxycholate, 1% NP-40, 1x protease inhibitor cocktail (Sigma) and combined at a 1:1 ratio with a mixed muscle homogenate processed from fully labelled C13Lys6 SILAC mice. Lysates were fractionated via 1D SDS PAGE and cut into 10 sections, washed and rehydrated in 100mM ammonium bicarbonate before reduction and alkylation in 10ul DTT and Iodoacetamide respectively. Digestion was carried out in either LysC or Trypsin with the resultant peptides dried and resuspended in 2% acetonitrile, 0.1% formic acid. Data from samples were then acquired via LC/MS-MS on an Orbitrap Elite (Thermo Scientific) using a top 15 method with CID fragmentation. Raw data were searched using Mascot (Matrix Science, London) through the Proteome Discoverer software against the Mus Musculus Swissprot database. Search conditions included dynamic modifications for methionine (Oxidation) and arginine (Label:13C(6)) and indicated quantification using SILAC (Lys6). Searches were performed using either trypsin or LysC as the enzyme and mean H/L calculated for each protein and expressed as a ratio of ratios Exercise/Rest
