HEGEMONI KEKUASAAN DALAM NOVEL ANIMAL FARM KARYA GEORGE ORWELL (TEORI GRAMSCI)
This research aims to elucidate the hegemony of power as proposed by Gramsci in George Orwell's novel Animal Farm. The study is limited to practices of hegemony such as information manipulation, propaganda, changing rules, historical erasure, control of education, and the creation of a common enemy, without discussing other literary elements outside this theory. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method employing the note taking technique. The researcher observed the entire content of the novel, then recorded and classified data related to Gramsci's theory of hegemony. The resulting data consisted of phrases, clauses, and sentences containing elements of Gramscian power hegemony, specifically those depicting practices of ideological power. The results of this study show forms of hegemony evident in the dominant characters, particularly Napoleon and the group of pigs, who build and maintain power through ideological strategies that create consensus among the other animals. This finding demonstrates that propaganda and ideological control are ultimately more effective than physical force in maintaining domination
Konsep Mekanisme Pasar Menurut Abu Yusuf Dan Ibnu Khaldun Dalam Kitab Al-Muqoddimah Dan Al-Kharaj
This article discusses the concept of market mechanisms according to Abu Yusuf and Ibn Khaldun, with an in-depth analysis of their main works, Al-Kharaj and Al-Muqaddimah. Abu Yusuf, a jurist and economic advisor during the Abbasid Dynasty, emphasized the importance of the government's role in regulating markets to prevent injustice and exploitation. Meanwhile, Ibn Khaldun, a philosopher and historian, offered a more dynamic perspective on markets, emphasizing the balance between supply and demand and the influence of economic policy on the cycles of civilization. This research uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach to identify similarities and differences in the views of the two figures. The results of the study show that despite having different approaches, both agree that justice and economic stability are key elements in an ideal market mechanism. It is hoped that this article will contribute to a deeper understanding of classical Islamic economic thought and its relevance in the modern economic contex
A Pengaruh Karakteristik Individu, Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja Dan Fasilitas Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Serbuk Jaya Abadi
This study aims to determine the effect of individual characteristics, quality of work life, and work facilities on employee performance of PT Serbuk Jaya Abadi in Lumajang City. Data collection was obtained through distributing questionnaires and interviews to respondents with the slovin sampling method, which 60 employees. The results of the data were processed using the analytical tool multiple linear regression. With the results of individual characteristics do not have a significant effect on employee performance. On the contrary, the quality of work life and work facilities have an effect on employee performance.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik individu, kualitas kehidupan kerja, dan fasilitas kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Serbuk Jaya Abadi di Kota Lumajang. Pengumpulan data didapatkan melalui penyebaran kuisioner dan wawancara pada responden dengan metode pengambilan sampel slovin yaitu 60 karyawan. Hasil data diolah menggunakan alat analisis regresi liniear berganda. Dengan hasil karakteristik individu tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sebaliknya kualitas kehidupan kerja dan fasilitas kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan
IMPLEMENTASI PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA DAN MENULIS PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI KEGIATAN BACA SEBELUM PEMBELAJARAN
This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of implementing newspaper reading activities before learning in improving the reading and writing skills of junior high school students. Newspaper reading activities were chosen as an intervention because of their potential in providing reading materials that are actual, diverse, and relevant to students' daily lives. This study used mixed methods, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data were collected through reading and writing ability tests before and after the intervention, while qualitative data were obtained through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study showed the Effectiveness of Newspaper Reading Activities, Newspaper reading activities before learning have proven effective in improving the reading and writing skills of junior high school students. This is supported by a significant increase in the results of reading and writing ability tests, as well as an increase in the quality of students' writing. Increasing Reading Interest and Motivation, Newspaper reading activities can increase students' reading interest and motivation. Current and diverse reading materials provide opportunities for students to learn about issues that are relevant to their lives, thereby increasing their interest in reading activities. Developing Critical Thinking Skills: Newspaper reading activities encourage students to think critically and convey ideas in writing. Analysis and discussion of issues raised in newspapers helps students to develop their critical thinking skills
Curriculum Development Management: The Key to Improving The Quality of Education in High School
This study aims to analyze curriculum development management in an effort to improve the quality of education at SMA Negeri 4 Raja Ampat. The focus of this study includes planning, implementation, evaluation, and obstacles faced in curriculum development. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study design. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of madrasah principals, teachers, and education personnel. The results of the study indicate that curriculum development planning at SMA Negeri 4 Raja Ampat includes routine activities such as monthly KKG/KKM, annual training and seminars, and in-house training. All of these activities are integrated in the RKM and RKAM, which include learning strategies, guidance, assessment, and financing, and serve as guidelines for curriculum implementation. The implementation of the curriculum in the classroom involves a syllabus that integrates character values, detailed RPP, and extracurricular activities to develop student talents. Evaluation is carried out with continuous monitoring to identify obstacles, as well as assessments to measure success and provide improvement solutions, with internal and external supervision throughout the process
Towards an Ideal Madrasah: A Model of Developing Religious Values in Madrasah
This study aims to analyze the strategy of strengthening religious values at MTs Badrussalam Indonesia, located in Malang. This research approach is qualitative with a case study design through data collection of observation, interviews, and documentation, focusing on the madrasah's approach in shaping students' religious character through the curriculum, school culture, and extracurricular activities. Test the validity of the data with credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The Miles & Huberman interactive model is used for data analysis, which includes presentation, reduction, and verification of conclusions. This study reveals the success of MTs Badrussalam Indonesia in integrating the five dimensions of religiosity according to Glock and Stark's theory into the education system as a whole. Belief through prayer and the role of the homeroom teacher as a religious counselor. Rituals through dhuha prayer, BMQ (Qur'an Reading Guidance), and extracurricular religious activities. Religious experience through spiritual activities such as tawassul and teacher motivation based on religious values. Knowledge through the integration of science and religion, including in the princess program. Moral consequences through the 5S culture, teacher respect, and the SASIS (Sambut Salam Siswa) program. The integration model of religiosity and education based on national education standards (SNP) PP. No. 4 of 2022 is the novelty of this research. MTs Badrussalam Indonesia offers a comprehensive approach that balances students' academic achievement with the formation of their religious character. This model can serve as a prototype of religious character-based education that is relevant to be implemented in similar educational institutions
Analysing Child Paternity Cases through the Lens of Maqasid Sharia: A Case Study of Judicial Rulings
This study aims to analyze the application of Maqasid Syariah principles in religious court decisions related to child paternity cases, with a focus on Decision Number 123/Pdt.P/2024/PA. Prob. This research is motivated by the importance of protecting the nasab and rights of children in Islamic family law, as well as the need to understand how Indonesia's positive law can accommodate sharia values in the context of the family. This study uses a qualitative method with a type of empirical juridical research that focuses on field research. Data was obtained through interviews with related parties, observation of the trial process, and analysis of court decision documents. The findings show that the religious court's decision to reject part of the application in this case has reflected efforts to uphold the principle of hifz al-nasl (protection of offspring), but there are some inconsistencies in the application of hifz al-mal (protection of property) regarding the distribution of inheritance and protection of guardians of children. The findings are expected to provide new insights into how the principles of Maqasid Syariah can be integrated into the Indonesian legal system, as well as the importance of adjustments in the application of the law to better accommodate the rights of children and families based on Islamic teachings
"AMAN DI DUNIA MAYA" ANALISIS BUKU BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS TINGGI BERBASIS KELAYAKAN BUKU BSNP
This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of Chapter 8 of the Indonesian language textbook for Grade VI elementary school students entitled "Safe in Cyberspace," based on four aspects of the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) standards: content, language, presentation, and graphics. This study uses a qualitative case study approach through documentation study techniques and content analysis. This chapter was chosen because it contains the theme of digital literacy which is important in learning Indonesian and encourages the development of students' writing and critical thinking skills. The analysis results show that Chapter 8 meets the feasibility criteria with an average score of 82%, which is classified as good. The average assessment results from the four aspects indicate that Chapter 8 is suitable for use as teaching material and can be a reference in developing adaptive and contextual textbooks. Although there are some shortcomings in the language and graphics aspects, overall this book is still suitable for use in the learning process. These findings are expected to provide input for the development of more effective textbooks that are in accordance with national education standards
Comparative Analysis Of The Health Of Syariah And Conventional Commercial Banks In Indonesia Using The Rgec Method
The objectives of this study are analyzing financial ratios consisting of Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Return On Assets (ROA) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) can distinguish health between the Islamic banking group and the conventional banking group. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of comparative research. The sample selection in this study used a non-probability sampling method which was purposive sampling with the following criteria: financial banking which has two sharia and conventional systems, financial banking which issued 10 consecutive financial statements, financial statement banking which had the highest assets in 2011- 2020, and banks whose financial statements whose profit and loss present data on outstanding shares and share prices. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that: 1) Financial ratios consisting of Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratios (FDR, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Return On Assets (ROA) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) are not have the ability to significantly distinguish between the Islamic banking group and the conventional banking group. The conclusion of the study shows that: 1) of the 4 (FOUR) financial ratios of Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratios (FDR, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Return On Assets (ROA) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), which analyzed, there is 1 (one) financial ratio that has the ability to distinguish significantly, namely the CAR ratio, because it has been proven by obtaining a significance value below 0.05, while the other 2 (two) financial ratios do not have the ability to distinguish (not a significant discriminator). between the Islamic banking group and conventional banking, including LDR and ROA, this is evidenced by the obtaining of a significance value above/greater than 0.05. 2) The soundness of conventional banking is better than the financial performance of Islamic banking
PERAN PEMBELAJARAN EKSPOSITORI DALAM MENDORONG MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN FIQIH
This study aims to analyze the role of expository learning in encouraging student learning motivation in Fiqh subjects. The background of this study is the low motivation of students to learn, which has the potential to hinder their understanding of Fiqh material. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect data from students and Fiqh teachers. The results showed a significant change in students' learning motivation after the application of the expository method. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and showed increased participation in learning Fiqh. The systematic and clear application of the expository method proved effective in fostering students' interest and enthusiasm for learning. This study recommends the use of the expository method as one of the effective strategies to increase Fiqh learning motivation
