Comparison of template engines of PHP frameworks

    Get PDF
In this study, we compared two common template Engines - Blade and Twig, which are closely related, but have some very strong differences. Blade belongs to the Laravel CMF, which is built on top of the Symfony CMF. The Symfony CMF itself has its own template engine called Twig. As a result, we want to find answers of several important questions: what are the differences between Blade and Twig that made it desirable for the Laravel developers to come up with a new template engine besides Twig; how do Twig and Blade answer to developer needs and to make some objective suggestions that can help choosing between the two engines

Using web scraping for real estate price analysis

    Get PDF
In the present paper, a survey is being made of the areas, in which the use of Web scraping is necessary for adaptation to dynamic changes, demanding processing and generalizing of large volume of data from different web sources. An exemplary implementation for Web scraping is presented for price analysis of the real estate market. The technology that gives possibility of integration of the intended activities in development of the application has been reviewed. The overall procedure in the researching, development and realization of the proposed application can be used as a good practice in adaptation of the knowledge and skills of the graduating students for the requirements, dynamics and organization of the work in a software company as well as for the professional co-operation between the academic lecturers and representatives of the software business

Implementation of House of Quality Method for software tools evaluation

    Get PDF
House of Quality is well known method for products evaluation in manufacturing. In this study, we will demonstrate usage of the ISIXSIGMA “House of Quality” method for quality evaluation in software engineering. We will analyze functionality and performance of two template engines - Twig and Laravel

A Survey on Ontology Operations Techniques

    Get PDF
Ontologies are increasingly seen as key factors in enabling interoperability between heterogeneous systems and semantic web applications and are emerging as representative techniques for overlapping complementary context domains. A single ontology is no longer sufficient to support the tasks predicted by a distributed environment such as the Semantic Web; several ontologies for many applications are necessary. Different ontological tools have different representations of data and concept operations with respect to their input. Its functions and informational structures also differ depending on its tools and processes. Currently very few investigation documents provide an in-depth discussion of these technologies and their applications. In this article, we discuss various sophisticated ontological tools with their various internal processes and algorithms. Mapping, aligning, or merging ontologies creates an identification layer that allows different applications to access the resulting ontology and then share its information, of course, while preserving the semantics it contains. For integrating large ontologies, automatic matches become an essential solution. However, the large ontology matching process presents high spatial and temporal complexities. Therefore, for a tool to efficiently and accurately match this large ontology within limited computing resources, it must have techniques that can significantly reduce the high spatio-temporal complexities associated with the existential matching process. These processes provide an important basis for many other processes such as translation, reconciliation, coordination and negotiation between ontologies

    Developing games while learning programming

    Get PDF
The article proposes the development of games in the learning process as a possible approach to increase the motivation of students. The well-known approach of connecting learning to play has been chosen. Linguistic and algorithmic elements are considered through interesting tasks - games. It turns out that games can be programmed, even with basic programming knowledge. Students take on the role of game developers, which gives them the opportunity to practice a professional activity very similar to real one. Based on several selected game tasks, it is discussed how games can be developed in parallel with learning basic programming structures. The development of computer games during the training can spark interest in new topics and stimulate the memorization of what has already been learned

BFS algorithm and SADT in Knowledge Management in E-learning on Data Structures

    Get PDF
The successful acquisition of knowledge and skills about the conceptual apparatus in a given subject area requires the concepts to be studied in mutual connection and conditionality. This requires a very precise refinement of the logical relationship between them. The present study presents an approach to building a formal model of the semantic relationship between the concepts in the course on Data Structures. Emphasis is placed on the adaptation of the breadth-first search (BFS) algorithm to the established formal model in order to plan and optimize training time. The created training plan contains the minimum volume of necessary basic learning units, which allow the learner to move to the acquisition of a concept by Data Structures

An Iterative Method for Solving the Matrix Equation X-A^{*}XA-B^{*}X^{-1}B=I

    Get PDF
In this paper we study iterative computing a positive definite solution of the matrixequation X-A^{*}XA-B^{*}X^{-1}B=I. We propose an iterative method for findinga positive definite solution of the considered equation. The theoretical results areillustrated by numerical example

Automated System for Development of Doctoral Documentation

    Get PDF
The article presents a web application through which doctoral study documentation can be prepared and developed. The main functions and characteristics of the various user roles involved in the development of the documentation are presented. An example of an adaptation related to the learning process is described. Several screenshots of the application are presented. Future plans for the development of the application are shared

    Image Steganography using Arduino Microcontroller

    Get PDF
This paper aims to investigate and develop an algorithm, based on the LSB method, for steganographic message hiding using a single-board Arduino microcontroller, with sequential scheme to embed the hidden message. It has been experimentally found that the changes that the algorithm makes to the carrier file are within normal limits and that the incompleteness is at a good level
