This study aimed to compare teachers%252339%253B self-efficacy in using online technologies with their students%252339%253B awareness of cyberbullying behaviors. In this regard, the need to support the opinions obtained through the survey with qualitative data was felt. Therefore, the phenomenological pattern method, a mixed method research in which qualitative and quantitative research methods are used together, was used in the research. For the quantitative data of the research, data were collected using the quot%253BDemographic Information Formquot%253B, quot%253BOnline Technologies Self-Efficacy Scalequot%253B and quot%253BTeachers%252339%253B Cyberbullying Awareness Scalequot%253B. A semi-structured interview form was used for qualitative data. The study included 256 teachers from Northern Cyprus%252339%253Bs secondary and high schools. The Mann-Whitney U Test was used in quantitative data analysis for independent variables with two categories, while the Kruskal-Wallis Test statistic was used for comparisons between more than two independent groups. Content analysis was used in the study of qualitative data. The results showed that there was a significant and positive relationship between teachers%252339%253B online technology self-efficacy and their students%252339%253B awareness of cyberbullying behaviors. Female teachers are much more knowledgeable about cyberbullying issues than male teachers. Teachers between the ages of 25 and 44 had higher self-efficacy in online technologies than other age groups. Teachers whose fields are not related to informatics departments stated that training is necessary to increase online technology self-efficacy. It was observed that the majority of teachers stated that the disclosure of personal information was the most common form of cyberbullying occurring in schools. In line with these results, various suggestions were included in the research
Transmission of the Values of Solidarity and Unity in Turkish Societal Culture to Corporate Cultural Structure Through Gamification
Throughout the history of ancient humanity, culture has always been the most essential means of transmitting outcomes from one generation to another. In all societal transitions, culture, which plays a facilitating role in the sustainability of societies, has undergone transformation in accordance with the trajectory of the context in the rapidly evolving world.
In a globalized world, while there might be boundaries between countries, the boundaries in human interactions have largely dissolved. The evolution of trade systems to global scales has led to the movement of institutions beyond their geographical confines, contributing to the acceleration of cultural diffusion.
The most significant impact of cultural diffusion in the commercial sphere is observed on organizational cultures. For global companies, it is of utmost importance to accurately analyze the core values of the societal culture at the center of their corporate culture and structure, and to build upon these values for adaptation, stability, and resilience. In this formation, the collective values inherent in the spirit of solidarity and unity in Turkish societal culture should be fundamentally positioned. In the context of the corporate environment, gamification techniques are employed to facilitate the transmission of relevant values, using modeled experiential learning educational approaches
“I’m a Teacher Material!”%253A Reasons of Preservice English Teachers for Choosing to Become a Teacher
This qualitative single-case study aimed to explain the reasons why individuals choose teaching from the viewpoint of preservice English teachers, on which the number of qualitative studies with this study population are scarce. The case, in this direction, was a Turkish state university’s Department of English Language Teaching, and the sampled group comprised of 10 preservice teachers of English as a foreign language. Qualitative data was obtained through an online form, which included ten sentence completion prompts starting with the statement, “I want to be a teacher because…”. Then, through a rigorous coding and notetaking process, categorical analyses were done to identify the reasons why preservice teachers chose this career path. Out of 100 statements provided by the participants, 131 coding references emerged, fitting under a total number of 11 themes and 13 subthemes, categorized as intrinsic, altruistic, and extrinsic motivational reasons. Overall finding in the study was that preservice teachers were mostly intrinsically and altruistically motivated for being a teacher since the majority of them expressed their interest in teaching with personal values and commented on the place of the profession as a contributory element for the growth of the community and its members. On the other hand, one subcase exhibited immoderately elevated levels of altruistic motives, which may lead to job burnout or dropout in the future. As for extrinsic motivations, such as prestige, financial gains, or external influences like family members or peers, they held the least importance among the study’s participants, and only one subcase reported to have chosen teaching as a fallback career. The study’s results, in this regard, are anticipated to provide valuable insights into EFL preservice teachers’ own justifications for choosing a career path in teaching
Evaluation of Family Relations in Custody Cases%253A Adapting The Structured Assessment Form for Children to Turkish Culture
The main goal of the study was to adapt the Structured Child Assessment Tool for Family Relationships (SCARF) developed by Strachan et al. (2010) to Turkish culture and to develop an assessment tool for the evaluators working in custody cases to make a standardized assessment in child interviews. The study involved 130 children between the ages of 4 and 14 who were included in custody cases. For the reliability of the assessment tool, Cronbach%252339%253Bs Alpha coefficients were computed for dimensions and sub-dimensions by age and examined with the test-retest method. For construct validity, Spearman Correlation Analysis was conducted for the correlation between the scores given by the child and the evaluator to the parents. Independent samples t-test was applied to specify whether there was a statistically significant difference between the scores given by children to their parents. In the research, a significant positive relationship was established in the scores given to the mother in both assessment tools for construct validity. In the scores given to the father, a significant relationship was found in all dimensions except Negative Parenting and Co-Parenting (plt%253B0.01). The comparison of the scores given by the child to the parents did not reveal any significant difference between the scores of the mother and father in all dimensions and sub-dimensions (pgt%253B0.05). As a consequence, it was established that the SCARF is a valid, reliable, and appropriate assessment tool for Turkish culture that can be used by the evaluator in child with custody cases

The aim of this study is to examine the students%252339%253B views on this process by using the Wordwall application, which is one of the Web 2.0 tools, in order to support the process of teaching Turkish as a foreign language. For this purpose, a case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was determined as a research method. The participants of the research are 12 volunteer students studying at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Turkish and Foreign Language Teaching Application and Research Center (COMU TOMER) in the 2021-2022 academic year. Within the scope of the research, one of the in-class activities was carried out with the Wordwall application during the 11-week education period of the students, including both B2 and C1 levels. The researcher who carried out the application applied at least 3 of the wordwall activities, which were arranged to create a competitive environment for grammar topics and vocabulary teaching, in the classroom environment every week. At the end of the research, it was seen that the students found the Wordwall application very useful in line with the interview data collected from the students. It has been concluded that the application contributes to the learning of Turkish words, even makes it easier to understand the different meanings of words, supports permanent learning, and facilitates learning grammar with the opportunity to practice. Students stated that they could both reinforce what they learned individually and work more interactively and collaboratively by discussing with their friends. Although the application was found to be quite fun, interesting and exciting by the students, it was stated as a disadvantage that its use required the internet

Adlerian Therapy%253A A General Review
Adlerian therapy is a therapeutic approach developed by Alfred Adler on the basis of the theory of individual psychology. Adlerian therapy, which is considered as a neoanalytic approach, differs from other neoanalytic approaches in that it emphasizes the purposefulness of behavior in addition to the individual%252339%253Bs past lives and emphasizes subjective opinion. In terms of addressing both the individual%252339%253Bs past lives and the motivations underlying their current behavior, Adlerian therapy offers a fairly broad perspective on the individual%252339%253Bs personality and behavior. Although research on Adlerian therapy, which has a deep-rooted foundation, is limited in Turkey, given the compatibility of basic concepts with Turkish culture, it is thought that the development and dissemination of Adlerian therapy-based practices will contribute to the field of mental health. For this reason, the article aims to cover the general philosophy and concepts of Adler%252339%253Bs theory of individual psychology, its basic concepts, psychopathology view, the process of Adlerian therapy and the techniques used in the therapy process. In addition, the article evaluates the literature findings related to the uses and effectiveness of Adlerian therapy and provides some suggestions to researchers and experts working in the field
Thematization of University%253A A Quest for Establishing Agricultural Universities
Turkish higher education system with 209 universities, today, and many more on the horizon, demonstrates enormous quantitative development. During the last three decades, no city without a university approach resulted in a burgeoning higher education movement. Whether private or public this exponential effort to replenish cities with universities may be considered a positive impact. However, the positive impact of this numeric expansion remains a question to be investigated. This article does not just discuss positive or negative effects of establishing the very same style of universities in every neighboring city but concentrates on the ideas of a thematic university approach. Hence, instead of duplicating homothetic city universities, tendencies towards structuring specific sectoral universities may be a more efficient way of allocating resources accurately. Agriculture, for example, is one of the sectors that deserves free-standing universities
