A Way of Using “Kuramoto” in School Education: Focusing on an Investigation Case of “Open Educational Curriculum”
Get PDFapplication/pdfShochu is a special product of Kagoshima that is produced prefecture-wide in “kuramoto” that have existed for more than 100 years. “Kuramoto” have been deeply involved in the region historically and in the formation of an original Kagoshima “Shochu culture.” Meanwhile, Kagoshima’ s education system, over 700 elementary and junior high schools scattered throughout the region, has developed an original education that takes advantage of regional characteristics. At a glance, “kuramoto” and “schools” might not appear to be related. However, some elementary and junior high schools have developed attractive education that makes use of “kuramoto.” This paper investigates various elements related to “kuramoto,” such as agriculture, historical production methods, sales, relations with local communities, and so on. It also aims to find a way to use “kuramoto” in education and in the organization of an “open educational curriculum” and to stimulate regions through education.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
