    Online Education in the Post-COVID-19 Era: Insights from the Teaching Frontlines

    application/pdfThis qualitative study explores the perceptions of two higher education instructors regarding online education in the post-COVID-19 era. The researchers employ a narrative inquiry approach to investigate the successes and obstacles they encountered while developing and teaching various online classes. Our findings revealed that flexibility, convenience, as well as time and cost savings were the key advantages of online education. However, the results indicated that digital literacy gaps, problematic ICT issues, psychosocial frustrations, videoconferencing fatigue, and a lack of social cohesion can undermine the learning process in a virtual course. We also found that some distance education instructors feel they are expected to be available to administrators and students around the clock due to the affordances of technological tools. Generative artificial intelligence (GAI) is a disruptive force in the educational field, offering potential benefits and significant obstacles for both students and teachers. The researchers argue that key lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic can help educators navigate the challenges posed by GAI and better equip them to integrate emerging technologies into their professional practice.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape

    A Study on Supervision Utilizing Process Records

    application/pdf本研究の目的は、逐語記録を活用したスーパービジョンによるスーパーバイジーのふりかえりと気づきの内容を明らかにすることである。調査対象は逐語記録を活用したスーパービジョンを経験したスーパーバイジー8名である。半構造化面接による個別インタビューを実施した。分析方法は質的データ分析法である。  分析対象となった発話内容は333である。分析の結果、【ふりかえりのツール】【実践の可視化とふりかえりの焦点化】【スーパーバイザーとの関係性】【言語化への挑戦】【評価と実践への還元】の5つのカテゴリと27のサブカテゴリを抽出した。5つのカテゴリをスーパーバイジーの変化に着目して、分析した結果、〔ふりかえりと可視化〕〔気づきの深化〕〔言語化と評価〕のプロセスが示された。スーパービジョンで逐語記録を活用することで、スーパーバイジーの成長に資することが示唆された。The purpose of this study is to clarify the nature of supervisee’s reflection and awareness through supervision utilizing process records. The subjects of the study were eight supervisees who had experienced supervision using process records. Individual interviews were conducted using semi-structured interviews. The data were analyzed using a qualitative data analysis method. A total of 333 statements were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, five categories and 27 subcategories were extracted: [Tools for Reflection], [Visualization of Practice and Focusing Reflection], [Relationship with the Supervisor], [Challenge of Verbalization], and [Feedback and Application to Practice]. Focusing on the changes in the supervisees, five categories were analyzed, revealing the processes of [Reflection and Visualization], [Deepening of Insights], and [Verbalization and Evaluation]. The findings suggest that utilizing process records in supervision may contribute to the growth of upervisees.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
