The crystal structure for 11-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1-oxo-1,2-dihydropyrazino[1,2-b]isoquinolin-5-ium bromide is also described

    Synthesis and Characterization of Copolymers of Lantanide Complexes with Styrene

    Сopolymers of 2-methyl-5-phenylpentene-1-dione-3,5 with styrene in ratio 5:95, which containing Eu, Yb and Eu, Yb with 1,10-phenanthroline were synthesized at the first time. The luminescence spectra of obtained metal complexes and copolymers in solutions, films and solid state are investigated and analyzed. The solubilization of β-diketonate complexes with phenanthroline was shown to change luminescence intensity in such complexes. Obtained copolymers can be used as potential materials for organic light-emitting devices

    The dependence of spectral properties and interfragmental charge transfer (ICT) on excitation, relaxation and excited state deactivation of 2-(3-cou­maroyl)-benzopyry­lium perchlorates has been analyzed. It was found that the positions of emission bands and rate constants of radiationless deactivation linearly correlate with ICT upon excited state deactivation, and Stokes’ shifts of fluorescence demonstrate linear dependence on ICT upon structural relaxation in the excited state

    A new dimethacrylic monomer with biphenylbenzoate-type aromatic core was tested to the possibility to carry out its selective homopolymerization under conditions of thermoinitiated radical polymerization in DMF solution. The kinetics of thermo-induced radical homopolymerization of this monomer as well as some model compounds were studied by dilatometry. The preferring polymerization of O-methacryloyl double bond was proved by 1H NMR spectroscopy

    The principle of the photothermoplastic method of hologram recording as well as the general requirements for photothermoplastic holographic recording media based on photoconductive polymer films are considered. The holographic recording media obtained by authors based on carbazolyl- and ferrocenyl-containing oligomers doped with organic dyes are discussed Some examples of practical application of such media in holographic interferometry are demonstrated

    Plasticizer Effect on Dielectric and Relaxation Parameters of Xanthan

    The dielectric and relaxation properties of pure and plasticized (with water, glycerol and PPG-200) xanthan were studied by  broadband dielectric relaxation spectroscopy. Within frequency range 10–107 Hz, a solid xanthan and its gels demonstrated two relaxation processes: the β-relaxation and relaxation of gel fragments formed due to xanthan/plasticizer interaction. The relaxation time decreased in the raw of plasticizers: PPG-200 > water > glycerol; the segmental dynamics of xanthan respectively grow. The ionic conductivity of gel samples increased in the following sequence:  water < PPG-200 < glycerol

    Influence of Chemical Nature of Aromatic Rings in Methacrylic Azomonomers on their Polymerization Properties

    Methacrylic azomonomers based on para-aminoacetanilide were synthesized. Azofragments include various aromatic rings: benzene, naphthalene, 8-oxyquinoline and thiazole derivatives. We studied the kinetics of their polymerization. It was shown that the polymerization rate depends on the nature of the aromatic ring in azohromofore. Structurally colored (co)polymers based on synthesized monomers were obtained and the absorption spectra of polymer films were recorded

    X-ray Diffraction Study of the NaF – LiF – LnF3 (Ln=La,Nd) Eutectic Composition in the Liquid and Solid States

    The ternary eutectic alloy with the composition 33 mol % NaF+53 mol % LiF+14 mol % NdF3 has been studied in the liquid and solid states using differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction at room and high temperatures. The obtained results demonstrate that the eutectic alloy undergoes no phase transformations at temperatures from 298 K to melting point. Analysis of RMC models of the melt indicates that there is no dense non-crystalline packing of the fluorine anions in contrast to the eutectic NaF—LiF—LaF3 melt
