UPAYA GURU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS MEMBACA TEKS PERCAKAPAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SEKOLAH DASAR ALKHAIRAAT PENGAWU KOTA PALU
Students' creativity has not been fully facilitated, and learning is often not directed to instill Islamic values explicitly through reading texts. This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic Education values in building students' reading creativity in Indonesian language subjects. This research uses qualitative methods by using observation and interview data collection techniques. This research uses Miles and Huberman analysis. The results showed that the implementation of Islamic Education values in building reading creativity was carried out through reading habituation activities 10 minutes before learning, providing a reading corner with Islamic reading materials, and using Islamic varied and contextual learning methods. The strategy is effective in instilling values such as responsibility (amanah), honesty (shidq), cooperation (ta'awun), and love of knowledge (hubbul 'ilmPenelitian ini membahas tentang Upaya Guru Meningkatkan Kreativitas Membaca Teks Percakapan Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Khairaat Pengawu Kota Palu. Permasalahan penelitian adalah 1) Bagaimana upaya guru meningkatkan kreativitas membaca teks percakapan? 2) Apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam meningkatkan kreativitas membaca teks percakapan? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan sumber data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) upaya guru meningkatkan kreativitas membaca teks percakapan pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia adalah membiasakan membaca buku sebelum memulai pelajaran, menyediakan pojok baca, menggunakan metode yang bervariasi. 2) Faktor Pendukung adalah penggunaan bahan ajar bergambar pada materi membaca teks percakapan, pemberian ice breaking, dan pendekatan yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan materi pembelajaran. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah kondisi lingkungan kelas yang kurang kondusif, kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik, metode pengajaran guru belum bervariasi
AN ANALYSIS OF THE NEEDS AND PERSONALITY TRAITS OF PEOPLE IN THE PROPHETIC ERA AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE FORMATION OF SOCIAL AND THEOLOGICAL MOVEMENTS
The widespread acceptance of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) message reflects a deep existential alignment between his teachings and the psychological and spiritual needs of his community. While traditional theological interpretations attribute the success of Islam solely to Divine will excluding socio-historical analysis this study adopts a realist perspective, arguing that the prophetic message resonated because it responded meaningfully to the lived experiences and core concerns of the people. Had the message failed to reflect these conditions, it likely would not have gained traction or led to widespread transformation. Using a critical-analytical method and library-based research tools, this study explores the cognitive, spiritual, ethical, and justice-related dimensions of human existence during the era of revelation. The findings reveal that the most pressing external concern was social injustice, while the most powerful internal driver was the spiritual search for meaning. Ethics and knowledge, although valued, were secondary to these dominant pressures. The Prophet’s ability to address both the external demand for justice and the internal longing for spiritual fulfillment positioned his message as both relevant and transformative. This alignment between prophetic mission and human need catalyzed a sociotheological revolution, demonstrating that successful religious movements must respond not only to divine command but also to human condition
CONSTRUCTION OF PEACE EDUCATION LEARNING MODEL IN MADRASAH CURRICULUM TO SUPPORT STUDENTS UNDERSTANDING OF MODERATE DA‘WAH
Formal educational institutions, both schools and madrasahs, are important tools for creating a safe, peaceful, calm, and dignified life in this world. The purpose of this article is to analyze the construction of a peaceful education learning model in the madrasah curriculum to support students' understanding of moderate preaching. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, employing interview and observation techniques, as well as descriptive-analytical data analysis. The research results show that Madrasah Aliyah Sidogiri implements a peace education learning model through five basic pillars, namely: educational objectives, lesson materials that contain ethics, basic rules and school regulations, a social pluralism atmosphere that supports the creation of harmony and peaceful life, and the Institute of Psychology and Counseling Guidance (IPCG) to handle problems in the learning process. Furthermore, the pedagogical design of peace education learning uses a framework whose elements consist of the main components of the curriculum, such as objectives, content, learning strategies, and evaluation. In character education, students are not only viewed from the academic side but also from the moral side. However, attitude is often ignored. Students in the school have diversity; therefore, it is very important to have an attitude of tolerance. In the context of Aswaja, there is one value, namely tasamuh, which means tolerance. This study aimed to explore how the attitude of tasamuh is implemented and to find out the teacher's strategy in implementing the attitude of tasamuh in 12th-grade high school at MAS At-Taufiq during English learning. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, conducted by observing English classes and conducting open-ended interviews. The results of the research show that implementing the value of tasamuh in English classes is not taught explicitly but emerges through activities while teaching the material. One of the obstacles in implementing the value of tasamuh is the influence of the environment outside the school on the students. This study supports previous research, highlighting that collaborative and interactive teaching methods effectively internalize tolerance. These findings contribute to the growing discourse on integrating character education into subject-specific curricula, particularly in culturally diverse settings.Dalam pendidikan karakter, siswa tidak hanya dilihat dari sisi akademis saja, namun juga dari sisi moral. Akan tetapi, sikap sering kali diabaikan. Siswa di sekolah memiliki keberagaman, oleh karena itu sangat penting untuk memiliki sikap toleransi. Dalam konteks Aswaja, terdapat satu nilai yaitu tasamuh yang berarti toleransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana sikap tasamuh diimplementasikan dan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam mengimplementasikan sikap tasamuh di sekolah menengah atas kelas 12 di MAS At-Taufiq selama pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dilakukan dengan mengamati kelas bahasa Inggris dan melakukan wawancara terbuka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai tasamuh dalam kelas bahasa Inggris tidak diajarkan secara eksplisit tetapi muncul melalui kegiatan-kegiatan saat mengajarkan materi. Salah satu kendala dalam mengimplementasikan nilai tasamuh adalah pengaruh lingkungan di luar sekolah terhadap siswa. Penelitian ini mendukung penelitian sebelumnya, yang menyoroti bahwa metode pengajaran yang kolaboratif dan interaktif secara efektif menginternalisasi toleransi. MODEL BISNIS STARTUP PENDIDIKAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF ISLAM
This study examines the integration of Islamic values in the business model of educational startup in Indonesia and how these values contribute to the sustainability and competitive position of these businesses in a highly competitive market. The issue addressed was the challenge faced by educational startup in balancing profit with social impact while adhering to Islamic principles, such as justice, transparency, and community benefit. The research positions itself as an exploration of how Islamic values can strengthen the business model of educational startup, making them not only financially viable but also socially responsible. The question was discussed by analyzing the operational and strategic implications of applying Islamic ethics in the education sector, with a focus on inclusivity, fairness, and sustainable business practices. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the paper reviews relevant literature on Islamic business ethics and its application in educational startup. The findings indicate that integrating Islamic values enhances trust, customer loyalty, and long-term sustainability, while offering a unique competitive advantage in the market. The research concludes that adopting Islamic principles in business models offers a viable path for educational startup to create a positive social impact while ensuring business success in the evolving educational landscape.PPenelitian ini mengkaji integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam model bisnis startup pendidikan di Indonesia dan bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan dan posisi kompetitif bisnis ini di pasar yang sangat kompetitif. Isu yang dibahas adalah tantangan yang dihadapi oleh startup pendidikan dalam menyeimbangkan keuntungan dengan dampak sosial sambil tetap mematuhi prinsip-prinsip Islam, seperti keadilan, transparansi, dan kebermanfaatan bagi masyarakat. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana nilai-nilai Islam dapat memperkuat model bisnis startup pendidikan, menjadikannya tidak hanya layak secara finansial tetapi juga bertanggung jawab sosial. Pertanyaan ini dibahas dengan menganalisis implikasi operasional dan strategis penerapan etika Islam dalam sektor pendidikan, dengan fokus pada inklusivitas, keadilan, dan praktik bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, makalah ini mengulas literatur yang relevan tentang etika bisnis Islam dan penerapannya dalam startup pendidikan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai Islam meningkatkan kepercayaan, loyalitas pelanggan, dan keberlanjutan jangka panjang, sambil menawarkan keunggulan kompetitif yang unik di pasar. DECONSTRUCTING THE HISTORICITY OF THE QUR'AN JOHN WANSBROUGH'S PERSPECTIVE: A HERMENEUTIC STUDY OF ISLAMIC PHILOLOGICAL SUSPICION AND CRITICISM
This article discusses John Wansbrough's radical approach to viewing the Qur'ān as a historical construction that developed in the context of sectarian polemics between Jewish, Christian and proto-Muslim communities. Through a historical-critical approach, philological and literary analysis, Wansbrough rejects the traditional narrative of Qur'ānic revelation and codification agreed upon by the majority of Muslims. He treats the Qur'ān as the discursive product of early Muslim communities living within the theological, social and political dynamics of the Levant and Iraq. Employing a hermeneutic methodology of suspicion, Wansbrough emphasizes the importance of critiquing classical Islamic sources such as hadith and sirah, and tracing the Qur'ān's intertextuality with Biblical texts. This article uses a qualitative-descriptive approach based on a desk study of the works of Wansbrough and his followers, as well as responses from Muslim scholars. The results show that although Wansbrough's approach was highly controversial and widely rejected by Muslim scholars, his contribution opened up a new paradigm in the critical study of the Qur'ān in the Western academic world. THE COMMERCIALIZATION OF DA'WAH: AN ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE
The phenomenon of commercialization in Islamic preaching (da’wah) has become an increasingly relevant debate in the digital era. Social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok provide vast opportunities for preachers to disseminate Islamic teachings, yet they also raise ethical dilemmas regarding the monetization of da’wah. This study aims to analyze the forms and strategies of da’wah commercialization and explore the Islamic perspective on this phenomenon. Using a qualitative approach and literature review method, this research examines relevant studies and Islamic preaching content on social media. The findings reveal that commercialization can positively impact da’wah by expanding its reach and sustainability. However, if not managed wisely, it may shift the essence of da’wah from spiritual goals to materialistic orientations. Therefore, clear ethical guidelines are necessary to ensure that digital da’wah practices remain grounded in Islamic values and maintain sincerity in conveying religious teaching
RACHID GHANNOUCHI AND THE RISE OF MUSLIM DEMOCRAT IN TUNISIA’S POLITICS
The paper highlights Rachid Ghannouchi’s political ideas in the context of the growth of political Islam in the Arab world by focusing on historical and political development that underlie the democratic process in Tunisia. It discusses political idealism he developed in Ennahda movement (The Renaissance Party) based on the principles of freedom and justice and its uncompromising opposition to the autocratic regime of Habib Bourguiba (1957-1987) and his successor Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali (1987-2011). The study is qualitative in nature in the form of documentary and content analysis. It used descriptive, analytical and historical approaches to analyse data derived from established archival sources. The study found that Ennahda which was founded by Ghannouchi in 1980 had broad influence in mainstream Islamic politics in Tunisia, that espouse to dismantle the autocratic rule and decolonise the corrupt practice and political suppression of past regime. The influence it developed had broadly impacted both Islamic and secular forces to converge and commit toward democratic rule, human rights and the principle of justice, freedom, and the rule of lawMakalah ini menyoroti gagasan politik Rachid Ghannouchi dalam konteks pertumbuhan Islam politik di dunia Arab dengan berfokus pada perkembangan sejarah dan politik yang mendasari proses demokrasi di Tunisia. Penelitian ini membahas idealisme politik yang ia kembangkan dalam gerakan Ennahda (Partai Renaisans) yang didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip kebebasan dan keadilan serta penentangannya yang tanpa kompromi terhadap rezim otokratis Habib Bourguiba (1957-1987) dan penggantinya, Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali (1987-2011). Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dalam bentuk dokumenter dan analisis isi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, analitis dan historis untuk menganalisis data yang berasal dari sumber-sumber arsip yang ada. TRANSFORMING THE MENTALITY OF POVERTY INTO PHILANTHROPY THROUGH ZAKAT
Poverty is one of the chronic and complex social issues that has long been a concern in Indonesia. On the other hand, the phenomenon of "rich people feeling poor" also significantly contributes to worsening this problem. This study aims to formulate effective strategies within Islamic education to transform the poverty mentality into a philanthropic mindset. Employing the Arksey and O'Malley scoping review approach, this research emphasizes transparency and reliability in its findings through several stages: (1) formulating the research question, (2) selecting relevant studies, (3) mapping key data, and (4) compiling and reporting the results. The findings reveal that Islamic education plays a crucial role in transforming the poverty mentality by instilling values of independence, moral responsibility, and social solidarity. More importantly, Islamic education serves as a bridge to philanthropy by integrating religious teachings with ethical economic behavior. It promotes the practice of zakat, waqf, and other philanthropic acts not only as religious obligations but also as instruments of social justice and wealth redistribution. Through this integration, Islamic education fosters a culture of giving, empowers communities, and reduces socioeconomic gaps. The spiritual and moral values embedded in the educational process inspire individuals to actively contribute to collective welfare, making philanthropy a sustainable strategy in alleviating poverty rooted in mindset and social structure.
Kemiskinan merupakan salah satu masalah sosial kronis dan kompleks yang telah lama menjadi perhatian diindonesia. Disisi lain fenomena “orang kaya merasa miskin”juga sangat berkontribusi dalam memperburuk masalah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi dalam pendidikan Islam yang efektif untuk membina mentalitas kemiskinan menjadi filantropis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Arksey dan O'Malley, yang menekankan transparansi serta memastikan reliabilitas temuan penelitian. Tahapan dalam proses ini meliputi: (1) merumuskan pertanyaan penelitian awal, (2) memilih studi yang akan dianalisis, (3) memetakan data, dan (4) menyusun, meringkas, serta melaporkan hasil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Islam memainkan peran penting dalam mengubah mentalitas kemiskinan melalui penanaman nilai-nilai kemandirian, dukungan komunitas, dan tanggung jawab moral. Pendidikan ini menekankan pentingnya kerja keras, pengembangan keterampilan, serta distribusi kekayaan yang etis, yang secara kolektif berkontribusi pada pengentasan kemiskinan. Dukungan komunitas melalui praktik filantropis seperti zakat dan wakaf menciptakan jaring pengaman sosial, menumbuhkan budaya altruisme, dan mengurangi stigma terhadap kemiskinan. Nilai-nilai spiritual yang diajarkan dalam kerangka pendidikan ini memberikan motivasi bagi individu untuk mencari solusi berkelanjutan terhadap tantangan ekonomi, sekaligus memastikan bahwa upaya tersebut selaras dengan prinsip moral dan etika
ANALYSIS OF THE INTEGRATION OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN MABNA AR RAZI: PERSPECTIVE OF SEYYED HOSSEIN NASR
This research describes the analysis of the integration of Islamic education at Mabna Ar Razi: Seyyed Hossein Nasr's perspective, how education is implemented at Mabna Ar-Razi, and what the mahasantri's perspective is regarding education implemented at Mabna Ar-Razi. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, a case study type. The subject of this research is mahasantri mabna Ar-Razi. Data collection techniques used educational observations at Mabna Ar-Razi, and interviews with Mahasantri and Musyrif Mabna. Apart from that, it also documents the schedule of activities at Mabna Ar-Razi. Data analysis uses the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results of this research are (1) the implementation of education at Mabna Ar-Razi combines intellectual and religious intelligence and character education. (2) Students' perspectives on education at Mabna Ar-Razi show a positive response, where they feel that education at Mabna provides a deep understanding of Islamic values and helps them apply these teachings in their daily lives.Penelitian ini mendeskripsian tentang analisis integrasi pendidikan Islam di Mabna Ar-Razi: perspektif Seyyed Hossein Nasr, bagaimana implementasi pendidikan di mabna Ar-Razi, dan bagaimana perspektif mahasantri terkait pendidikan yang dilaksanakan di mabna Ar-Razi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif jenis studi kasus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah mahasantri mabna Ar-Razi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi pendidikan di mabna Ar-Razi, wawancara kepada mahasantri dan musyrif mabna. Selain itu juga dokumentasi jadwal kegiatan di mabna Ar-Razi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) implementasi pendidikan di mabna Ar-Razi memadukan antara kecerdasan intelektual, dan kegamaan beserta pendidikan karakter. (2) Persepektif mahasiswa terhadap pendidikan di Mabna Ar-Razi menunjukkan respons positif, di mana mereka merasa pendidikan di Mabna memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang nilai-nilai Islam dan membantu mereka menerapkan ajaran tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari
