Música para mejorar la calidad de vida durante la pandemia en estudiantes de grado en maestro.

In recent years we have attended projects and experiences where music serves as therapy, in hospitals, in homes for the elderly, etc. The situation caused by the covid has generated an increase in stress in both teachers and students, however, the university as a training and education center still does not propose music education as a tool to improve the quality of life for this kind of students. In this proposal we collect articles and other documents that show the importance of music during confinement and the need to promote musical education and training in both young people and adults to improve their quality of life. The methodology used combines qualitative and quantitative data, using the theoretical review and the questionnaire, as tools for data collection. The results respond, through the selected articles and the responses of the participants, to the need to include music as a tool for the quality of life of the students. The conclusions indicate the need to continue researching in this line of action that unites music and health in students and in the field of the university.En los últimos años se ha asistido a proyectos y experiencias donde la música sirve como terapia, en hospitales, en residencias de personas mayores, etc. La situación provocada por la covid, ha generado un aumento del estrés tanto en docentes como en dicentes, no obstante, la universidad como centro de formación y educación todavía no plantea la educación musical como herramienta de mejora de la calidad de vida para su alumnado. En esta propuesta recogemos artículos y otros documentos que muestran la importancia de la música durante el confinamiento y la necesidad de potenciar la educación y formación musical tanto en jóvenes como en adultos para la mejora de su calidad de vida. La metodología utilizada combina datos cualitativos y cuantitativos, utilizando la revisión teórica y el cuestionario, como herramientas para la recogida de datos. Los resultados responden, a través de los artículos seleccionados y las respuestas de los participantes, a la necesidad de incluir la música como una herramienta para la calidad de vida de los/as estudiantes. Las conclusiones señalan la necesidad de seguir investigando en esta línea de acción que une música y salud en estudiantes y en el ámbito de la universidad

Televisión y representación de los niños, niñas y adolescentes inmigrantes extranjeros no acompañados: una aproximación a las cadenas españolas.

In southern Europe, one of the characteristics of migration is the growing number of minors who face the journey alone and with particular vulnerability. Their stigmatisation is partly due to the messages disseminated by some media and especially by social networks. This study analyses the treatment of unaccompanied foreign children and adolescents often labelled with the acronym MENA, by Spanish television news programmes. The sample covers productions broadcast on the first screen and reduplicated in the digital sphere. It is concluded that, in general, there has been an evolution in professional awareness of the television treatment of their image, this being more evident in public television. However, there is a negative assignment of meaning to foreign children and adolescents due to the arguments put forward by extreme right-wing parties, which have gained media presence.En el sur de Europa, una de las características de las migraciones es el número creciente de menores que afrontan el viaje solos. Su estigmatización se debe en parte a los mensajes difundidos por algunos medios y las redes sociales. Este estudio analiza el tratamiento que las televisiones españolas realizan en los informativos sobre los niños, niñas y adolescentes (NNA) no acompañados extranjeros etiquetados frecuentemente con el acrónico MENA. La muestra abarca producciones emitidas en primera pantalla y reduplicadas en el ámbito digital. Se concluye que en general se ha producido una evolución en la conciencia profesional sobre el tratamiento televisivo de su imagen siendo esta constancia más evidente en las televisiones públicas. Se observa, no obstante, una asignación de sentido negativo para los NNA extranjeros por las argumentaciones esgrimidas por los partidos de extrema derecha, que han ganado presencia mediática

El factor relacional como clave en las TRIC: Estudio de caso en Aragón (España) de la implantación de una unidad didáctica sobre alfabetización mediática.

This research presents a case study of the application of a didactic unit entitled «Media literacy from the TRIC model. Relationship, Information and Communication Technologies». This didactic unit was implemented in four institutes of the Autonomous Community of Aragon from February to May 2023. The contents of the didactic unit were divided into three main blocks: the information professional, disinformation and entertainment, and social networks. For evaluation purposes, surveys were carried out both to the students and to the teachers who were in charge, and a focus group with the teachers. The results indicated that both students and teachers highly value the implementation of a media literacy syllabus. Finally, the relational factor is positioned as the key to establishing intra- and inter-level relationships either from interdisciplinarity or transdisciplinarity.En la presente investigación, se presenta un estudio de caso de la aplicación de una unidad didáctica titulada «Alfabetización mediática desde el modelo TRIC. Tecnologías de la Relación, Información y Comunicación». Esta unidad didáctica se implantó en cuatro institutos de la Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón durante los meses de febrero a mayo de 2023. Los contenidos de la unidad se basaban en tres bloques principales: el profesional de la información, periodismo y desinformación, y ficción, entretenimiento y redes sociales. A efectos de evaluación se llevaron a cabo encuestas tanto al alumnado como al profesorado y se realizó un focus group con el profesorado. Los resultados obtenidos indican que tanto el alumnado como el profesorado valoran muy positivamente la implantación de un temario de alfabetización mediática. Finalmente, el factor relacional se posiciona como clave para establecer relaciones intra e interniveles bien desde la interdisciplinariedad o la transdisciplinariedad

MOTIVATION AND TEACHING: Fhilosophy and reality in physical education teachers.

La motivación es un elemento clave en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Son muchos los estudios que abordan los factores que inciden en el interés que los estudiantes muestran dentro del aula por las cuestiones académicas. Sin embargo, a menudo olvidamos que este elemento debe estar presente también en el profesorado. Si el docente ejerce su profesión desmotivado, es muy difícil que los discentes estén motivados. A través del presente estudio pretendemos significar la importancia de la motivación en la función docente. Para ello hemos realizado un estudio piloto, de carácter descriptivo, para conocer el grado de motivación que muestran los maestros de Educación Física y las causas que influyen en la misma. El estudio se concretó en los colegios de Educación Primaria de la ciudad de León (España). Los resultados mostraron que existe una buena regulación emocional entre este sector del claustro educativo, siendo los docentes más veteranos los que mejor saben afrontar los problemas que pueden desembocar en un grado de desmotivación. La implicación psicoeducativa con los alumnos y la promoción y compromiso profesional con la educación es uno de los factores que más motivados mantienen al profesorado encuestado. Por el contrario, aunque en baja medida, la presencia de alumnos con deficiencias psicomotrices exige una mayor autorregulación emocional en el docente a causa de la readaptación que tiene que hacer en sus clases de Educación Física.Motivation is a key element in the teaching-learning process. There are many studies that address the factors that affect the interest that students show in the classroom for academic issues. However, we often forget that this element must also be present in the teaching staff. If teachers are unmotivated in their profession, it is very difficult for students to be motivated.   Through this study we intend to show the importance of motivation in the teaching profession. For this purpose, we have carried out a descriptive pilot study to determine the degree of motivation shown by Physical Education teachers and the causes that influence it. The study was carried out in primary schools in the city of León (Spain). The results showed that there is a good emotional regulation among this sector of the educational staff, being the most veteran teachers the ones who know better how to face the problems that can lead to a degree of demotivation. Psycho-educational involvement with students and professional promotion and commitment to education is one of the factors that most motivates the teachers surveyed. On the other hand, although to a lesser extent, the presence of students with psychomotor deficiencies requires greater emotional self-regulation in the teacher due to the readaptation he/she has to make in his/her Physical Education classes

Artificial Intelligence for image generation in art: how does it impact on the future of Fine Art students?

El desarrollo emergente de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) que genera imágenes realistas a partir de texto, puede afectar el futuro del alumnado de Bellas Artes, ya que a través de estas IA se está realizando el trabajo que puede realizar un artista. Con el fin de entender su visión y posicionamiento con el tema, desde este contexto educativo, planteamos la hipótesis que la IA de generación de imágenes en arte impacta en su futuro académico y laboral. El objetivo es conocer la repercusión de la IA de generación de imágenes en el alumnado, sin que constituya una solución al problema, sólo un registro contextual de opinión, se lleva a cabo una encuesta estructurada para recoger los datos del tema de estudio, también realizamos la entrevista a chatGPT para conocer sus respuestas y relacionarlas con la del alumnado. Como conclusión, obtenemos respuestas positivas y negativas que contextualizan este momento octubre 2022.The emerging development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that generates realistic images from text, may affect the future of Fine Art students, as through these AIs they are doing the work that an artist can do. In order to understand their vision and positioning on the subject, from this educational context, we hypothesise that the AI of image generation in art has an impact on their academic and professional future. The objective is to know the impact of the AI of image generation on the students, without constituting a solution to the problem, only a contextual record of opinion, a structured survey is carried out to collect data on the topic of study, we also conducted an interview with chatGPT to know their answers and relate them to that of the students. In conclusion, we obtain positive and negative responses that contextualise this October 2022 moment

El nexo entre docencia e investigación en la carrera universitaria. Una revisión sistemática.

The academic career has been affected in recent years by changes in institutional policies and by the implementation of a Hamburg model of university in which professors must combine teaching and research. This combination can generate synergies, but also conflicts. A systematic review of the literature has been carried out in order to get an overview of the current situation in the teaching-research nexus. The results are not conclusive, finding studies both for and against the benefits of this relationship. On the one hand, the great weight of research in academic careers, as opposed to teaching, makes it difficult for this link to be truly effective. On the other hand, there seems to be a way to facilitate the link between teaching and research through the use of research methodology itself as a teaching methodology in higher education.La carrera académica se ha visto afectada, en los últimos años, por cambios en las políticas institucionales y por la implantación de un modelo hamboldtiano de universidad en la que el profesorado debe simultanear docencia e investigación. Esta combinación puede generar sinergias, pero también conflictos. Para conocer el panorama actual en el nexo entre docencia e investigación se ha llevado a cabo una revisión sistemática de la literatura. Los resultados no son concluyentes, encontrando estudios tanto a favor como en contra de los beneficios de esta relación. Por un lado, el gran peso que tiene la investigación en la carrera académica, en contraposición a la docencia, dificulta que este nexo pueda ser realmente efectivo. Por otro lado, parece abrirse una vía de conexión que facilite el nexo entre docencia e investigación a partir de la utilización de la propia metodología de la investigación como metodología didáctica en educación superior

Redes sociales y discapacidad: una descripción sobre las consecuencias positivas y negativas de su encuentro.

There is no doubt that the use of social networks carries risks, but also benefits for the whole of society. The motivation of the present work is to discover, precisely, these in the use by the group of people with functional diversity, since, as in other areas, their experience tends to be differentiated and to run into barriers. Thus, through descriptive research, both the negative aspects and the potential that can be found in them are discovered. The main conclusion makes media literacy prevailing in a generalized way, to alleviate the risks and favor digital inclusion, as well as all the great benefits that it brings, such as empowerment or socialization.  No cabe duda de que el uso de las redes sociales conlleva riesgos, pero también beneficios para toda la sociedad. La motivación del presente trabajo es descubrir, precisamente, estos en la utilización por parte del colectivo de personas con diversidad funcional, ya que, como en otros ámbitos, su experiencia tiende a ser diferenciada y a toparse con barreras. Así pues, mediante una investigación descriptiva se descubren tanto los aspectos negativos como el potencial que puede encontrarse en ellas. La conclusión principal hace imperante la alfabetización mediática de forma generalizada, para paliar los riesgos y favorecer la inclusión digital, así como todos los grandes beneficios que ella reporta, como el empoderamiento o la socialización

Signposts, Profits, and Pitfalls in teaching University Service-Learning in the Physical Education field

Este estudio tiene como objetivo explorar de qué modo el profesorado percibe, experimenta y valora la aplicación del Aprendizaje-Servicio universitario en Actividad Física y el Deporte para desarrollar y perfeccionar su práctica docente desde una mirada crítica considerando sus complejidades. Se optó por un diseño de estudio cualitativo con grupos focales en la que participaron un total de 12 participantes. Para el análisis de la información se empleó el procedimiento denominado ‘pensar con la teoría’ (Jackson y Mazzei, 2012). Los resultados obtenidos se reflejaron en una red no lineal de categorías. Las principales fortalezas se focalizaron en la transferencia de conocimiento y el compromiso social institucional. Las principales debilidades versan en torno a la excesiva carga burocrática del personal docente, junto con la falta de reconocimiento. En conclusión, este estudio reivindica la necesidad de adoptar una posición crítica como personal docente e investigador, a fin de diseñar mejores experiencias de Aprendizaje-Servicio.This study aims to understand how teachers linked to PAS perceive the various experiences of SL, in order to improve future educational initiatives in this field. A qualitative study design was chosen in which information from 12 participants was collected through two focus groups. Then, it was analysed using a procedure called 'thinking with theory' (Jackson & Mazzei, 2012). The results obtained were reflected in a non-linear network of categories. The main strengths focused on knowledge transfer and institutional social engagement. On the other hand, the main weaknesses are related to the excessive bureaucratic burden on teaching staff, together with the lack of recognition. In summary, the need to adopt a critical stance as teaching and research staff in order to design better SL experiences is addressed

Renovación pedagógica y nuevas gramáticas escolares.

The objective of the article is twofold: firstly, to carry out a brief historical-educational journey through the Spanish pedagogical renewal from the end of the 19th century to the end of Franco's dictatorship and the beginning of the subsequent democracy; and secondly, to reflect from a sociological, political and pedagogical perspective, on the nature of the pedagogical renewal processes that are developing in Spain today. Some of the first results of the R+D+i Project funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation in the 2019 call are shared. An essentially qualitative methodology was followed and which consisted of four linked phases: 1) bibliographic selection and discussion of this in thematic seminars; 2) the conduction of a contrast session in a discussion group between team members, academics and experts; 3) another discussion group was held with teaching professionals from centres that are currently carrying out pedagogical renewal projects; and 4) a final seminar was held in order to analyze the information collected in the previous phases. It is concluded, firstly, that there are certain continuities and discontinuities in the present with respect to the past; secondly, from the epistemological framework of pedagogical renewal, both the use of the concept of innovation and the reality it harbours, is commodified and devoid of a critical reading of the reality, ambition, content and trajectory, which confirms that part of the current educational change is merely adaptative and superficial.El objetivo del artículo es doble: en primer lugar, realizar un breve recorrido histórico-educativo de la renovación pedagógica española desde finales del siglo XIX hasta finales de la dictadura franquista y el inicio de la posterior democracia; en segundo lugar, reflexionar desde un enfoque sociológico, político y pedagógico, sobre la naturaleza de los procesos de renovación pedagógica que se están desarrollando en España en la actualidad. De esta forma se comparten algunos de los primeros resultados del Proyecto I+D+i financiado por el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación en la convocatoria 2019. Se ha seguido una metodología esencialmente cualitativa que consta de cuatro fases encadenadas: 1) selección bibliográfica y discusión de la misma en seminarios temáticos; 2) realización de una sesión de contraste en un grupo de discusión entre los miembros del equipo y  académicos y expertos; 3) otro grupo de discusión con profesionales de la enseñanza de centros que en la actualidad están llevando a cabo proyectos de renovación pedagógica; y 4) celebración de un seminario final con el fin de analizar la información recogida en las fases anteriores. Se concluye, en primer lugar, que existen ciertas continuidades y discontinuidades del presente respecto del pasado; en segundo lugar, desde el marco epistemológico de la renovación pedagógica, tanto el uso del concepto innovación como la realidad que alberga, está mercantilizado y carente de lectura crítica de la realidad, ambición, contenido y trayectoria, cosa que confirma que parte del cambio educativo actual es meramente adaptativo y superficial

The art of university education and the need to recover it.

La formación universitaria tiene una condición artística: la búsqueda de la verdad de las cosas. Los gérmenes de esa actividad humana se encuentran en el monaquismo occidental y en las primigenias universidades de la Edad Media. Sin embargo, la modernidad y la posmodernidad han afectado a ese arte. Se podría decir que la universidad se está convirtiendo en una escuela profesional altamente cualificada, una antesala del mundo laboral, un lugar de adquisición de saberes rentables, efectivos y eficientes. El objetivo de este trabajo es doble: indagar en las fuentes artísticas de la formación universitaria y presentar situaciones que deberían ser subsanadas para resguardar esas fuentes. Para logarlo, se ha utilizado la revisión bibliográfica. Se transita primero por el monasterio y la herencia que ha dejado para formación universitaria; luego se abordan los modos de pensar que atentan contra el arte universitario; y, por último, nos dedicamos a las conclusiones.The university education has an artistic condition: the search for the truth of things. The germs of this human activity are found in Western monasticism and in the early universities of the Middle Ages. However, modernity and postmodernity have affected that art. It could be said that the university is becoming a highly qualified professional school, a prelude to the world of work, a place of acquisition of profitable, effective, and efficient knowledge. The objective of this work is twofold:  to investigate the artistic sources of university education; and present situations that should be corrected to safeguard these sources. To achieve this, the bibliographic review has been used. First goes through the monastery and the legacy it has left in university education. After, we present the ways of thinking that threaten university art are addressed; and finally, we dedicate to the conclusions
