Model of Communication Strategy for Public Relations in Private University in Building The Relationship With The Media

The success of Public Relations work in Private University depends on the public relations strategy in building the relationship with the media. For knowing how effective PR strategy is in building the relationship with the media, A research has been done with 10 respondents ( 10 Private Universities in Central Java ) by using descriptive qualitative approach and direct observation. There are two relationship models that have been found from this research, they are “ Imbalanced Commensalisms Relationship “ ( for PR’s relationship with the media institution ) and “ Harmonious Mutualism Relationship “ ( for PR’s relationship with the Journalist)

Self-Censorship Regulatory Structure: Can We Control Political of Hates, Violence & Sex in Children Computer & Video Games?

This article examines some of the extreme negative content available to teenagers and young children in the market. Extreme negative values such as political of hates, violence and sex in some of the children computer and video games were made possible due to several factors such as lacking in regulatory structure, week policy implementation, rampant of illegal and uncensored materials. Computer and video games have been the subject of frequent controversy and censorship, due to the depiction of graphic violence, sexual themes, racism, advertising, eavesdropping, consumption of illegal drugs, consumption of alcohol or tobacco, propaganda or profanity in some games. Among others, critics of video games sometimes include parents’ groups, politicians, organized religion groups, and other special interest groups. Young children who see violent acts in movies, shows, and games may not be able to tell the difference between “make-believe” and real life. They may not understand that real violence hurts and kills people. When the “good guys” or heroes use violence, children may learn that it is okay to use force to solve problems. Prospek Pengembangan Modal Usaha Petani Kecil Melalui Program P4K di Kabupaten Bantul

The study is aimed to investigate the development of the small farmers\u27 capital in Small Farmer Development Program. The trend analysis was estimated by Ordinary Least Square methods. The results show that the credit under the program could not hasten the growth of own capital. That was indicated by the decrease in the own capital when the credit was suspended. The alternative methods in increasing the farmers\u27 capital might be proposed as: (1). give disparities of the sum of credit depend on the kind business, (2). Sustainable agriculture is an alternatif choice to replace the unwise west type agriculture with high chemical input, but the strategy and the technology to be implemented is not ready due to the varied environment. Sustainable agriculture should consider four aspects i.e. ecology/technology, financial/economic, human! institution, and combined. The problem of natural resource and environment in Indonesia is the consequence of several trends, like population growth, deforestation for expanding agricultural land, rapid economic growth in the last three decades, over centralized development planning, and focusing economic development in Java. The dilemma between economic growth and degradation of natural resource base is not always a problem. There should be a new paradigm in the approach of the agricultural development to be long term approach considering to synchronize the conservation of natural resources and the economic development. Indonesia is one of nation that producer and supplier ted in the world market. Indonesia tea production is held by three kind of enterpreneurship. They are government plantations (PBN), private plantations (PBS) and society plantations (PR). PBN is the biggest produser (56 percent) and the highest productivity, among of them. Export of Indonesian tea still have fluctuation in few years. It\u27s caused by Indonesian tea market still depend on them five aim export countries. They are Pakistan, USSR, USA. England and Dutch. Regional development in Sleman regency based on its regional potential can be seen from leading sector performance in economy structure Sleman regency using Input-Output (1-0) Analysis. 1-0 Analysis used non-survey method with RAS technique. Development with stressing leading sector as forward wisdom anticipation needs a guidance of the available trend from economy structure transformation. Poverty, a lack situation was signed by the attitude and behavior, that is showed in a bad quality of human resources, the low of exchange value for production, low productivity, limitted of capital, and low of households income. The research results show that the farm household income was directly influenced by capital, working hours, market accessibility, family size, supervision, and small trading. The increase of capital, working hours, along with market accessibility was raising of income, especially for the households those getsuppervision on small trading. he welfare level indicator of a household or population is the expenses allocation. The poorer of a household or population in a region, the higher expenses allocation for food. Howefer, the household expenses relatively in proportion to family income. The objectives of the research is to determine the factors influence the allocation of the household income for the food consumption. The expenses for consuming rice was affected by the hedonic price of cassava, family income and the amount of the family members. The parameter of cassava and corn hedonic prices is positive, means that the cassava and corn are rice substitution. The expenses for consuming cassava was affected by hedonic price of cassava, family income and location. The parameter of rice and com hedonic price is negative. means that the rice and corn are cassava complementary. The expenses for consuming corn was affected by hedonic price of corn, family income, the amount of the family members and location.
