多相ラッシュ分析を用いた「読んで書く」技能評価のための採点基準の妥当性論証

While foreign language education in Japanese high schools emphasizes developing communication abilities by integrating more than one skill1), there is limited research on developing and validating rating scales for assessing reading-to-write (RTW) skills at the high school level. This study aims to report on the initial stages of validating a rating scale for assessing RTW skills. Specifically, we focused on the evaluation inference within Knoch and Chapelle’s2) argument-based validation framework, attempting to collect backing for four assumptions. The three authors of this study scored 169 responses to RTW tasks written by Japanese high school students. Results of many-facet Rasch measurement analysis indicated that the rating scale structure functioned well according to criteria set by Bond and Fox3). Fit statistics further demonstrated that the three raters rated consistently with the rating scale. Several biases were identified in rater-criterion combinations, though no consistent patterns emerged. These findings contribute to linking the evaluation inference from observations to observed scores within an argument based framework, advancing the validation of the rating scale for RTW skills.departmental bulletin pape

The Improvement of Basic Academic Skills and Preparation for SPI Using an e-Learning System for Students Admitted to the Department of Comprehensive Management： An Analysis of the Learning Effects of Two Types of Drills

松本大学総合経営学部総合経営学科では、学科独自の教育企画として1年次に教養教育コース、3年次にSPI対策コースの2種のe-learning systemドリルを導入している。教養教育コースについては、ドリルの利用状況と実力診断テスト成績との関係、入試区分別、高校課程別、GPA、学修行動調査などIR的視点を併せた分析を行い、これまでに2019年度 から2022年度の入学生についての英語、国語、数学のテスト成績の上昇傾向を報告した。 SPI対策コースについては、2019年度入学生の3年次にあたる2021年度のドリルの利用状況と就職状況の分析を行い、就職の内定や決定を得ていた学生はSPI対策ドリルをよく利用している傾向が見られることを昨年報告した。 今回の分析では、教養教育コースの利用状況と成績、IR的視点を併せた分析を行い英語、国語、数学のテスト成績の上昇傾向が見られた。また、SPI対策コースの2020年度入学生の3年次にあたる2022年度の利用状況の分析では、ドリルをよく利用している学生は大学の学びの質に満足しており、就職活動状況も良好であることが示唆された。departmental bulletin pape

The Process of Problem Solving and Interactive Lesson Design in Science, Based on the Aspect of Learners’ Thinking ：A Case Study of the Grade Four “Function of Electric Currents” Unit

本研究では、児童らの思考の様相に立脚した理科の問題解決過程および対話的授業デザインが有効であるか否かについて検討した。具体的には、【考察】→【問題の把握】→【予想・仮説の設定】→【観察・実験】→【結果】→【考察】の流れで授業を構想して実践検証を行った。その結果、あらかじめ想定された「4つ思考の様相」が発現しながら概念形成がなされたことから、理科の授業デザインとして、「【考察】から始まり、新たな【問題】を生み、次の【観察・実験】、【結果】を経て、再び【考察】へと向かう」というサイクルが実現可能であることが示唆された。このサイクルは、理科の対話的授業デザインの一つとして機能することが期待できる。departmental bulletin pape

A Cross-Linguistic Analysis of Native Language Differences in Judgments of Containment in the English Preposition in : Visualization via Hierarchical Bayesian Estimation and Jensen–Shannon Distance

本研究は、前置詞in に後続する名詞句がどの程度「容器性」を帯びるかという判断において、日英母語話者の間に生じる概念的差異を可視化することを目的とする。14 の名詞句に対するリッカート尺度による評価データを階層ベイズモデルにより確率分布として推定し、母語グループ間の分布差をJensen-Shannon距離（JSD）により定量化した。その結果、cornerやgardenのようにJSD が大きく、母語・文化的背景により容器性判断が大きく異なる語と、mirrorやbowlのようにJSD が小さく、判断の普遍性が示唆される語とが判別された。本研究は、前置詞の意味判断の母語・文化依存性を統計的に検出・可視化する手法を提示し、認知意味論と第二言語習得研究の架橋に資する知見を提供する。departmental bulletin pape

A Corpus-Based Study of NPN Construction Focusing on “Arm in Arm”：A Deeper Dive into Collocational Strength of the Verbs

本研究は藤原（2023）による「NPN構文に関するコーパス分関：“arm in arm”に焦点を当てて」に基づき、British National Corpus において arm in arm と共起する動詞の共起強度に着目した分析を行った。ダイス係数、相互情報量、対数尤度比の3つの統計指標値を算出し統計的に分析したところ、walk, stroll, come, see, swish, make off, exit, lurch 等の動詞が arm in arm と強い結びつきがあること等が明らかとなった。departmental bulletin pape

Mold Contamination Countermeasures at the Matsumoto University Library

2023 年6 月から2024 年5 月にかけて、月に一度の頻度で松本大学図書館内書架のカビによる汚染状況を調査したので報告する。館内書架に存在するカビのおよそ半分がCladosporium cladosporioides という黒カビの胞子であった。この糸状菌はイネ科作物の葉面から高頻度で分離されることから、館内のカビによる汚染には松本大学の立地条件が影響していると考えられた。カビ胞子数の年間の推移と、図書館職員によって継続的に測定されている館内の相対湿度と温度の記録から、今後のカビの発生を予防するための対策を提案したい。departmental bulletin pape
