Chemical, Microbiological and Sensory Changes of Musculus Semimembranosus of Pork Stored at Diferent Temperatures
The paper includes changes that occur in vacuum packed pieces ofpork meat (Musculus semimembranosus) obtained by removing the haunch, vacuum packed and kept in a chamber at different temperature conditions of4ºC. and 6ºC. The changes that occur during storage were examined during thesecond, the third, and the fifth day after production. It was found that duringthe storage of meat cuts, there were significant changes in reduction of watercontent, while protein, fat and mineral substances were increased. The totalnumber of bacteria in meat cuts during storage was increased in those whowere kept at a temperature of 6ºC. During storage of meat cuts after the fifthday from production, the best sensory characteristics of meat had the meat cutsstored at 4ºC
Evaluation of Some Cherry Tomato Genotypes and Determination of Their Ability for In Vitro Micropropagation
Cherry tomato is a variety that is poorly present at our fields, mainly due tothe traditional habits of the consumers and the commercial tomato producers togrow tomato varieties with large fruit. Cherry tomato - Lycopersicon esculentumMill. var. cerasiforme (Dunal) is a tomato variety with small fruit, but can havedifferent shapes and colors, and it is used mainly for fresh consumption. Thefeatures of this variety are portrayed by its sweetness and aroma, which furtherenriche the taste of food. During this research, a comparative analysis of themorphological traits in this type of tomato in outdoor production conditions,as well as in protected environment was performed. The possibilities forproduction and maintenance in plant cell culture were researched as well, with a goal of improving the morphological and biological features of cherrytomato
Динамика на репродуктивниот развој kaj меката пченица во различни системи на производство
In our research, large number of wheat genotypes were analysed inrelation to the stages of development of the reproductive parts of plant.Going through the stages of reproductive development in optimalconditions is of great importance because it greatly affects getting higheryields. Yearly conditions and the farming systems have impact on the developmenton the reproductive parts of plants. The influence of the method of cultivation is highlighted by shortenedreproductive development on plant parts in conventional production for one tofive days in the first, third and the fourth year
Variability of Some Quality Characteristics in Wheat Seed
Qualitative characteristics were examined of five varieties of soft wheat(mila, milenka, lepoklasa, radika and pobeda), prepared for sowing in 2011and 2012 year. The tests were applied over average samples collected outof ten randomly selected lots of C1 seed category on all five varieties. Theresults in this paper are related to total germination, abnormal seed, hard seed, fresh seed, dead seed, mass of 1000 grains and moisture content. The obtainedresults are within the prescribed legal values, indicating excellent seed quality.Total germination, mass of 1000 grains and moisture content have lowvariability (0,95%, 7,60% and 10,60% respectively). The abnormal seedshows high variability (43,02%), as well as the fresh seed (31,72%), hardseed is characterized with very high variability (62,76%), whereas dead seed ischaracterized with exceptionally high variability (132.72%).The tests were conducted in the Laboratory of Plant and EnvironmentalProtection, at the Department of Plant and Environmental Protection of theAgricultural Faculty in Stip. The laboratory is accredited in accordance withstandard EN ISO / IEC 17025:2006 for multiple methods, including methodsfor testing seeds quality of agricultural plant
Control of Population Number of Tomato Leaf Miner Tuta Absoluta (Meyrick, 1917) in the Strumica Region
The objective of this research is to monitor and control the size of thepopulation of tomato leaf miner Tuta absoluta (Meyrick, 1917) in the Strumicaregion. Tests were carried out on production plot on acreage of 0,1, in the areaof the village Boriovo over two harvests, spring and summer. Pest monitoringwas performed using yellow sticky traps that were set against reflectormeasuring 50 W bulb which lit the plate, where the miner T.absoluta followingthe light was trapped. Control of the number of population of the pest wascarried out with pheromone traps Type - 500, that attract males. Both methodsproved to be quite effective for monitoring and control of the number of thepest population
Classification and Direction of Development of Tractors
Classification of tractors according to its domain of use, purpose, nominal force, power and design conception is presented in this paper.Afterwards, directions of development of tractors are given through theirgeneral development and development of its components, engine, power train, hydraulic, wheels, etc
