    Value-Based Education Model to Enhance Emotional Intelligence, Positive Character, and Fighting Techniques of Junior Tarung Derajat Athletes

    This study addresses the low improvement in training outcomes, particularly in mastering character-intelligence and fighting skills among junior athletes in Tarung Derajat martial arts. The research aims to determine the effectiveness of the BMB3 learning strategy in enhancing these aspects for early-age athletes at Kurata levels III (ages 10–12) and IV (ages 13–14). The study employed an experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 30 athletes from the UNP Padang training center, selected through stratified-cluster random sampling. Data collection instruments included a Character-Intelligence Questionnaire and a Tarung Derajat fighting ability test. Descriptive statistics were used to reveal training conditions, while hypothesis testing employed the t-test. The results show: (1) a significant improvement in character-intelligence for 12-year-old athletes (Kurata III) with t = 6.22, p = 0.00; (2) a significant improvement for 14-year-old athletes (Kurata IV) with t = 11.81, p = 0.00; (3) a significant increase in fighting ability for 12-year-olds with t = 6.52, p = 0.00; and (4) a significant improvement in fighting ability for 14-year-olds with t = 7.05, p = 0.00. These findings demonstrate that the BMB3 learning strategy effectively enhances both character-intelligence and fighting skills in junior Tarung Derajat athletes

    Gender and leadership issues (a study on student organizations in higher education in tasikmalaya city)

    Intra-campus student organizations are one way for students to develop their abilities outside the classroom, but sometimes there is a gender imbalance in the implementation of organizational leadership. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze gender issues and leadership of intra-campus student organizations in Tasikmalaya City universities. The research method used is quantitative with survey method. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and observations. The results of this study indicate that 56% of respondents believe that good support and facilities from student organizations can help someone to develop themselves in a better direction and 40% of respondents agree that in determining organizational leaders, it should be seen based on ability not based on gender stereotypes. But aside from this, there are obstacles and challenges that occur for women to become leaders, namely due to internal factors, these factors include women prioritizing feelings, not having the confidence to become a leader, and more burdens and responsibilities compared to men. From the results of the research that has been obtained, researchers can conclude that in reality gender and leadership issues in intra-campus student organizations in Tasikmalaya City are still minimal women who become leaders and still dominate men who become leaders, this is due to the obstacles and challenges that occur to women.     Kecemasan Guru dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Dasar

    Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu; (1) mendeskripsikan tingkat kecemasan Guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar, (2) menganalisis perbedaan kecemasan Guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah sekolah dasar negeri di Singkawang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru sekolah dasar kelas 1 dan kelas 4 yang telah mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Sampel yang diambil menggunakan Teknik sampling insidental sehingga jumlah guru yang menjadi sampel adalah 48 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah komunikasi tidak langsung, sedangkan instrument yang digunakan berupa skala likert dengan pilihan sangat sesuai, sesuai, tidak sesuai dan sangat tidak sesuai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan manova. Hasil penelitian bahwa; (1) tingkat kecamasan guru masuk pada. kategori sedang dengan persentase 87,5%, (2) tidak dapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Guru laki-laki dan perempuan serta guru yang mengajar di kelas 1 dan 4 terkait kecemasan dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan nilai signifikasi > .05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecemasan guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka berada pada kategori sedang dan cenderung naik pada level tinggi jika tidak dikontrol dengan baik. Kemudian tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terkait implementasi merdeka berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan kelas

    PERCEPTION OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION OF KARO ABOUT RAKUT SITELU

    This research examines and analyzes the perceptions of Karo’s young generation regarding Rakut Sitelu. In the Karo people, there is a kinship system which is usually called rakut sitelu, which means triple bond. Rakut sitelu in Karo society consists of three elements, namely kalimbubu, senina, and anak beru. And of these three elements, each has its own function and role. This third element is the basis for the Karo people to create a relationship (kinship). Therefore, every Karo community, especially the young Karo generation, is obliged to know these three elements. The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the perceptions of the younger generation of Karo regarding rakut sitelu, as well as the efforts of the young generation of Karo in maintaining rakut sitelu. In this research, researchers used qualitative research, with descriptive methods. Because by using descriptive methods, researchers can explain the perceptions and efforts of the young Karo generation to understand and maintain specific sitelu rakut that occurs in Karo society, especially the young Karo generation. In accordance with the aim of this research, regarding the Karo young generation’s perception of rakut sitelu, it was found that the three elements of rakut sitelu are the foundation (basis) for the Karo people to know their position in traditional ceremonies, so that by understanding rakut sitelu, they can understand their position.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan guna menemukan persamaan sebuah karya sastra dengan karya sastra lain antara novel Layla Majnun karya Nizami Ganjavi dengan novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck karya Hamka melalui unsur-unsur pembangunnya seperti buah pikiran, tokoh dan penokohan, alur, serta latar. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari kutipan-kutipan yang mengandung unsur pembangun dari kedua novel yang dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak unsur yang memiliki kesamaan dari kedua novel tersebut seperti pada gagasan kawin paksa; tokoh dan penokohan seperti Qays dengan Zainuddin, Layla dengan Hayati, Ayah Layla dengan Datuk Garang, Ibnu Salam dengan Aziz, serta Naufal dengan Muluk; Kesamaan alur dalam penggunaan alur progresif, namun Hamka memodifikasi alur dalam karyanya dengan menyisipkan kilas balik di dalamnya. Latar suasana didominasi oleh suasana sedih, kecewa, marah, dendam, dan duka. Kedua novel ini juga mengangkat unsur keislaman dalam latar sosialnya.

    Rancangan Tata Letak Penyimpanan Bahan Baku Menggunakan Metode Class-Based Storage Berdasarkan Turnover Ratio di Gudang PT X Bandung

    This study examines the implementation of the class-based storage method in designing the raw material storage layout at the PT X Bandung warehouse. Currently, raw materials are stored randomly, resulting in inefficiencies such as increased travel distances, difficulty in locating items, and higher physical workload for warehouse operators. To address these issues, the class-based storage method is applied by categorizing materials based on their movement frequency using FSN (Fast, Slow, and Non-Moving) Analysis, enabling more optimal placement.Data was collected through direct measurement of item movement distances in both the current and proposed layouts, supported by warehouse layout simulations. The results indicate that implementing this method reduced the total movement distance from 1,194,342 cm to 948,294 cm, representing a 20.6% reduction, thereby significantly improving operational efficiency.Moreover, the combination of dedicated and shared storage allows for more flexible space utilization, especially for returned raw materials. It is recommended that PT X integrate this method with periodic demand reviews and staff training to ensure sustained warehouse performance and more streamlined logistics processe

    Developing E-LKPD based on Creative Problem Solving to Enhance Higher Order Thinking Skills and Learner Autonomy in Topics Related to Progressive and Standing Waves

    This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective E-LKPD utilizing Creative Problem Solving (CPS) approach to enhance both Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and the independent learning attitude of students in topics related to progressive and standing waves. The research method employed was Research and Development utilizing the 4-D development design model, which includes the phases: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate; however, Disseminate phase was not implemented. The validity of the E-LKPD CPS was assessed by material and media validators. Its practicality was evaluated based on the feasibility of implementing the E-LKPD CPS during the learning process as observed. The effectiveness of the E-LKPD CPS was determined through N-gain tests, while user response was gathered via response questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods. The E-LKPD CPS was pilot-tested in a limited setting at MAN 2 Yogyakarta, involving 33 MIPA 1 as experimental group and another 33 as control group (MIPA 2). The E-LKPD CPS received validity scores of 97.47% from content experts and 95.48% from media experts, both considered very valid. Its practicality scored at 84.08% (good). The effectiveness of the E-LKPD CPS in enhancing HOTS was demonstrated with experimental group N-gain of 70.69%, compared to the control group's 63.70%, both deemed moderately effective. The effectiveness in fostering independent learning attitudes yielded N-gain of 74.28% for the experimental group and 67.23% for the control group, also rated as moderately effective. Student response was highly favorable at 91.33% (very good). Consequently, the developed E-LKPD CPS is declared valid, practical, and effective for implementation in educational settings

    The Impact of Educational Quality on Student Satisfaction: The Role of Student Experience in Postgraduate Education

    This study aims to examine the influence of educational quality on student satisfaction through student experience among postgraduate students at public universities. Few studies have focused specifically on the learning experience of postgraduate students, indicating the need for further research in this area. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal research design. Data were collected through a survey of 213 postgraduate students from public universities selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that educational quality has a significant effect on student experience, and student experience significantly affects student satisfaction. Furthermore, student experience was found to mediate the relationship between educational quality and student satisfaction. This study highlights the importance of student experience for postgraduate students. The implications emphasize the need for higher education institutions to improve the technical aspects of educational quality such as learning resources and facilities as well as technology infrastructure to enhance the learning experience of postgraduate student

    The Impact of Gymnastics Learning on the Endurance Improvement of Seventh Grade Students at State Junior High School 6 in Bengkulu City

    This research was conducted to address the low level of physical fitness, particularly VO₂Max, among junior high school female students, which impacts their overall health and physical performance. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of poco-poco and SKJ 2021 aerobic exercise programs, along with the influence of exercise motivation, on the improvement of VO₂Max in female students at SMP Negeri 6 Bengkulu. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design. A total of 24 female students were selected through total sampling and divided into four treatment groups. The exercise was conducted over 12 sessions, and VO₂Max was measured using the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). The results revealed that the group performing SKJ 2021 with high motivation (A2B1) achieved the highest average posttest VO₂Max score of 41.2 ml/kg/min, while the poco-poco group with low motivation (A1B2) had the lowest average score of 35.6 ml/kg/min. Two-way ANOVA analysis showed a significant effect of both exercise type and motivation level on VO₂Max (p < 0.05). The interaction between exercise and motivation was also statistically significant. These findings conclude that the combination of structured aerobic exercise and high motivation significantly enhances cardiovascular endurance in female junior high school students

In the development of language, euphemism is a form of language style used to convey meaning in a subtle and polite way so as not to offend feelings. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. This method involves collecting library data, reading, and recording relevant data and research materials in the Buya Hamka Vol.1 and Vol.2 films. This research is not tied to a particular place, because this study uses film objects that can be watched via the netflix application, and the time of this research was conducted for one semester. This study uses data in the form of words and sentences in the Buya Hamka Vol.1 and Vol.2 films.The data technique used is the listening and recording technique and documents in the form of images. The listening and recording technique can be done by listening to the Buya Hamka Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 films. The data analysis technique in this study is dialogue between characters to find out the forms of euphemism from the Buya Hamka Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 films.
