O BAIRRO PROSPERIDADE NO CONTEXTO DA REGIONALIDADE

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo caracterizar o Bairro Prosperidade do ponto de vista econômico, verificar a percepção dos seus moradores acerca das mudanças que se processam no município de São Caetano do Sul e na Região do Grande ABC, bem como a presença de sentimento de regionalidade em relação ao Grande ABC. Para tanto, a pesquisa caracteriza-se como um levantamento por ser o delineamento mais apropriado para o alcance dos objetivos propostos. As técnicas utilizadas foram o levantamento bibliográfico e documental, o formulário, as entrevistas e a observação. A pesquisa permitiu verificar que o Bairro Prosperidade tem uma especificidade que o difere dos demais bairros de São Caetano do Sul, assim como seu perfil destoa do da Região do Grande ABC por demonstrar uma intensidade na produção de novos espaços fabris. Outros fatores que compõem essa diversidade são: a posição geográfica do bairro, a ligação afetiva que o morador tem com ele e a dinâmica social decorrente dela. A síntese desses fatores influenciam diretamente o sentimento de regionalidade do morador, que a pesquisa demonstrou ser pouco expressivo.The objective of this issue is to give a feature of the District Prosperidade by the economic point of view, check the perception of the residents about of the changes that happen in the São Caetano do Sul and in the Grande ABC region such as the feeling of regionality in relation to Grande ABC. For this, the survey is na accuracy activity and the best way to get the aim. The techniques used were the bibliographical and documental survey, the form, the interviews and the observation. The survey has allowed to check that the District Prosperidade has a specificity that make it different of other districts of São Caetano do Sul, like its profile of the rest of the districts of the Grande ABC region because it demonstrate na intesity in the production of new factory spaces. Anothers factors that compose this diversity are: the geographic position of the district, the emotional feelings that the residents have with it and the social dynamic resulting from its. The sum up of these factors influence straight the feeling of regionality of the residents, that the survey has demonstrated to be expressionless

INTEGRAÇÃO REGIONAL E GESTÃO DE RECURSOS HÍDRICOS: O PLANO DA BACIA DO ALTO TIETÊ E OS ORGANIZACIONAIS DE ARTICULAÇÕES REGIONAL DO GRANDE ABC

Este estudo foi realizado com o objetivo de verificar qual a contribuição dos organismos de articulação regional do Grande ABC (Câmara Regional do Grande ABC, Consórcio Intermunicipal das Bacias do Alto Tamanduateí e Billings e Agência de Desenvolvimento Econômico do Grande ABC), no período de 2003 e 2004, para a implementação do Plano da Bacia do Alto Tietê - PBAT, um dos instrumentos do Sistema de Integrado de Gerenciamento de Recursos Hídricos do Estado de São Paulo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho exploratório, caracterizada como estudo de caso. A gestão dos recursos hídricos na região do Grande ABC foi o caso estudado. O recorte cronológico compreendeu o período de 2003 e 2004. A pesquisa teve como objetivos identificar as ações dos organismos regionais acima citados relacionadas ao Plano da Bacia do Alto Tietê e suas contribuições para a implementação deste plano da região do ABC Paulista. Concluiu-se que tais contribuições não foram significativas para a implementação do PBAT na região do Grande ABC face à própria aplicabilidade do plano na região e à fragilidade da articulação interinstitucional entre organismos regionais e os órgãos do sistema de gerenciamento dos recursos hídricos.The study was made for to check that contribution of the Greater ABC regional articulation organizations (The Greater ABC Citizenship Forum, The Intermunicipal Consortium of the Alto Tamanduateí and Billings Basin and The Economic Development Agency) to a implementation for the Alto Tietê Basin Plan, an instrument of the Water Resources Management System of São Paulo State. It´s about an exploratory research, characterized like a case study. A water resource management of The Greater ABC is a case studied. The chronological period is definite 2003 at 2004 year. The research has like objectives to identify what the regional organizations actions further along related to the Alto Tietê Basin Plan and contributions for implementation this plan in the ABC region. To conclude, these contributions show little importants for an implementation of the Alto Tietê Basin Plan in the ABC region, because of suitable plan aplication and fragility interinstitucional articulation between the regional organizations and the water resources management system organizations

IMPACTOS DA INFORMATIZAÇÃO NA GESTÃO DE SUPERMERCADOS

Este trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa realizada em 27 supermercados de diferentes portes, na qual se buscou avaliar os impactos da informatização na gestão destes estabelecimentos. O setor de comércio, e particularmente os supermercados, realizam investimentos em tecnologia da informação (TI) inferiores aos dos setores da indústria e de serviços. O método de pesquisa utilizado foi o de levantamento, e os principais aspectos investigados foram: estrutura de TI predominante, projetos de TI mais importantes, fatores críticos de sucesso (FCS) para projetos de TI e impactos da informatização nas operações dos supermercados. A análise se baseou na percepção dos gerentes com relação a estes aspectos. Observou-se que os supermercados de porte médio em geral possuem rede cliente/ servidor como estrutura de TI, enquanto nos de grande porte predomina mainframe. O projeto de TI considerado mais importante entre os estabelecimentos pesquisados foi o PDV (Ponto de Venda), seguido pelo TEF (Transferência Eletrônica de Fundos) e depois EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). Os FCS de maior importância, segundo os entrevistados, são o ?apoio da alta gerência?, e ?integração entre as áreas da empresa?. Finalmente, constatou-se que no estágio atual de informatização destes supermercados o principal impacto percebido pelos gerentes é a maior agilidade no atendimento ao cliente.This work is the result of a research made in 27 supermarkets of different sizes. The aim of this survey was to evaluate the impact of the informatization in the management of those companies. The commerce business and particularly the supermarkets have invested less in Information Technology (IT) than the industries and service business. The research methodology used in this work was the survey. The main investigated aspects were: the most important IT structures, the most important IT projects, Critical Success Factors (CSF) for IT projects and the impacts of the informatization in the supermarket operations. The analyses were based on the managers’ perceptions in relation to the aspects which were mentioned above. It was observed that, in general, the medium size supermarkets have client/server network as IT structure. On the other hand, the full size supermarkets use, mostly, the mainframe. Point of sales (POS) was considered the most important IT project among the enterprises, followed by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and finally, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). According to people who were interviewed, the “high management support” and “integration among the areas of the company” were the most important CSF. Finally, it was realized that the most remarkable impact seen by the managers in the present level of informatization in those supermarkets was the agility in the assistance to the client

A INSERÇÃO DA ASSESSORIA DE EMPRENSA NA INDUSTRIA AUTOMOBILÍSTICA DO ABC

Este trabalho visa verificar o papel e o perfil da assessoria de imprensa nas montadoras de automóveis do Grande ABC. Foram analisadas as estruturas do departamento de assessoria de imprensa da Ford do Brasil, da General Motors do Brasil e da Volkswagen do Brasil. Procurou-se também verificar as principais atividades desenvolvidas por essa área, sua postura diante de situações de crise e o futuro da assessoria de imprensa.This work seeks to verify the role and the profile of press consultantship in the automobilies’ assemblers in the Great ABC region. The structure of this area in Ford of Brazil, General Motors of Brazil and Volkswagen of Brazil were analyzed. The research also aim to verify the main activities developed by these departments, their posture in face of crisis situations and the future of the press consultantship

AUTONOMIA, COMUNICAÇÃO E NEGOCIAÇÃO: PROJETO E OPERAÇÃO DE GRUPO, SEMI-AUTÔNOMO EM ÁREA DE APOIO À PRODUÇÃOI NA INDÚSTRIA AUTOMOBILÍSTICAQ DA REGIÃO DO GRANDE ABC

O objetivo geral do presente estudo é caracterizar a forma de organização dos Grupos Semi-Autônomos de uma área de apoio à produção de uma empresa automobilística situada na região do Grande ABC. Realizou-se um estudo de caso intrínseco no Laboratório de Calibração, utilizando-se diversas fontes de evidências na coleta de dados, os quais foram organizados e discutidos a partir do referencial teórico. O estudo revelou que os membros dos GSAs apresentam maiores níveis de autonomia nas atividades operacionais, o que não ocorre nas atividades administrativas. Nesse tipo de atividade predomina a presença hierárquica do líder da célula, indicando que a autonomia dos membros e monitores dos GSAs estudados é claramente limitada. As informações disponíveis são consideradas suficientes para o desempenho das atividades, e as reuniões para repasse de informações, avaliação de resultados e negociações parecem acontecer periodicamente. Contudo, o processo de comunicação e a disseminação das informações são centralizados no líder da célula. Os GSAs foram implementados por meio de negociação entre empresa e sindicato, evidenciando que essa forma de organizar o trabalho tende a inserir os trabalhadores no processo de inovação e transformação das suas áreas de trabalho e, portanto, nas estratégias de competitividade empresarial na região do Grande ABC.The main objective of this study is to determine how Semiautonomous Groups (SAG) within a support to production area are organized at an automobile company in the Greater ABC region. An intrinsic case study was carried out at the Calibration Laboratory, with different sources of evidence for data collection being employed, organized and discussed regarding the theoretical references. The study brought to light that SAG members hold greater levels of autonomy in operational activities, but the same situation is not observed in managerial activities. The hierarchical presence of cell leaders predominates in this sort of activity, which points to a clearly limited autonomy of the GSA members and monitors under analysis. The information available is considered as satisfactory for the activities to be performed and often one can observe meetings for spreading information, evaluating results and internal negotiations happen seemed to be systemic. However, the communication process and the spreading of information keep concentrated on the cell leader. SAG were implemented through negotiations between the company and the metalworkers union; indicating this model of work organization as a way to involve the workers within the innovation dynamics and transformation processes of their work area, as well as a interesting business strategy for improving competitiveness in the Greater ABC region

GESTÃO FINANCEIRA NA MICRO E PEQUENA EMPRESA

A despeito da quantidade de pequenos negócios que são abertos e fechados num período inferior a cinco anos é crescente o desejo de abrir um negócio próprio, começar uma nova atividade, em particular nas pessoas dispensadas de suas atividades nas empresas de grande porte. Fatores externos à pequena empresa, que afetam de forma negativa o seu desempenho, talvez tivessem seus efeitos minimizados se o seu proprietário / gerente tratasse as questões do dia-a-dia de maneira sistematizada e constante, como recomendam os estudiosos da gestão empresarial. Em particular a gestão financeira, uma vez que os fatores financeiros estão entre as causas do fechamento das empresas. A proposta deste trabalho não foi conhecer os resultados numéricos das empresas pesquisas, mas sim confrontar os procedimentos encontrados e os recomendados, conforme apresentados no referencial conceitual. A pesquisa foi realizada em quatro empresas da região do ABC, com mais de um ano e menos de quatro anos de existência, focando assim a fase considerada crítica na sobrevivência das empresas. O estudo de caso foi o procedimento adotado para a coleta de dados desta pesquisa que teve um caráter descritivo. O principal objetivo foi identificar as práticas adotadas pelos gestores financeiros, suas características e as características das empresas que participaram da pesquisa.Besides the amount of small companies that have been opened and closed in a period of less than five years the desire to run the own business is increasing; starting a new activity, in special for people that have been fired from their jobs in big organizations. External factors that negatively impact the performance of the small company maybe could have its effects minimized if its owner/manager had dealt the day-by-day issues in a constant and standard way, as recommended by the masters on enterprise management, in special financial management. The financial factors are among the causes why companies failure. This study doesn’t intended to know the figures or results of the companies that have been researched, but instead confront the procedures that have been found and those recommended as presented in the conceptual reference. The research was performed with four companies in ABC region, with more than one year and less than four years of activities, this way focusing the particular critical phase in the organizations survival. Case Study was the procedure that has been adopted in gathering data for this research in a descriptive matter. The primary goal was to identify the practices utilized by the financial managers, their characteristics and the particularities of the companies involved in the research
