PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PYTHAGORAS PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI KELAS VIII.1 SMP NEGERI 4 BASO
Mathematics instructional in Junior High School (SMPN) 4 Baso, Agam conducted through lecture method. The student-centered learning has not been performed at instructional. Most of students (60%) have not been mastered of mathematics. One of the efforts to improve learning outcomes is to use the Pythagorean model as a learning media. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of students used the Pythagorean model of the Pythagorean Theorem. The research used classroom action research design. The research subjects were VIII.1 grade students of SMPN 4 Baso, Agam in the 2015/2016 academic year of 20 students. Data collection instrument were tests and observation sheet. The test was used to know the learning outcomes of students in each cycle. Observation sheet was used to determine the instructional process at each cycle. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results showed that: The average score of the students learning outcome in the first cycle of 66.5, the second cycle of 75.5 so that was increasing in the average score of the first cycle to the second cycle. Percentage of mastery learning of students in the first cycle of 60%, in the second cycle of 95%. Thus there was an improved of mastery learning of students from the first cycle to the second cycle. It can be concluded that the mathematics instructional by using Pythagoras models can improve to learning outcomes of students
Analisis Kebutuhan Pengembangan Bahan Ajar IPA Terpadu Bermuatan Literasi Era Digital untuk Pembelajaran Siswa SMP Kelas VIII
Science learning should be able to develop the ability to think, to work, to use tools, and to live in the world for students. Integrated Science learning and integration of digital age literacy give good opportunities for students to develop fourth of these skills. But the reality shows that the implementa-tion of integrated science learning and integration of literacy in learning can’t be implemented well. An alternative solution of this problem is to develop integrated science learning by integrating digital age literacy. Before developing this integrated science materials it is necessary to conduct preliminary research as a basis for designing this learning materials. The purpose of this preliminary research is to describe the integration of knowledge basic competencies of science subjects, the implementation of integrated science learning, the learning materials available for science learning, and the integrating literacy of students. The type of research was descriptive research method. As object of the research consist of science teachers, syllabus and science learning materials, and students of grade VIII in ju-nior high school. Instruments to collect data consist of interview guide sheet, science syllabus and learning materials document, and digital age literacy test sheet. Research data was analyzed with de-scriptive statistic. Base on data analysis can be stated that results of this research are: 1). integrated science learning on grade VIII junior high school students can’t be implemented well, 2). the value of integration of science learning materials and its application in knowledge basic competence can be classified into enough category, 3). generally science learning materials in integrated science text-books and science worksheet on grade VIII junior high school are still separated form, and 4). the average value of digital age literacy of students is classified into low category. 
STUDI PENGALAMAN GURU-GURU MTSN 6 PESISIR SELATAN DALAM PENULISAN KARYA TULIS ILMIAH GUNA MENINGKATAN IPTEK MASYARAKAT SERTA MEWUJUDKAN GURU YANG PROFESIONAL
Teachers have an important role in education. To support it, teachers should have good profess sionalism especially in writing articles. In fact, many teachers are not proficient in writing articles because they do not have enough knowledge about it. Teachers need such training for increasing their experience in writing. After that, the progress will be seen. The research method is descriptive quantitative. The data in this research is quantitative data. The type of data is the primary data. A data collection technique in this study is questionnaires. Data processing techniques used include editing, coding, tabulation, and scoring. Data analysis technique is descriptive analysis percentage. After doing the training, the teachers have more knowledge and interest of writing articles
PERANCANGAN ASSESMEN LITERASI KIMIA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL OF EDUCATIONAL REKONSTRUCTION (MER) PADA TEMA: “AIR SEBAGAI PELARUT UNIVERSAL”
This research aims to produce instrument for measuring chemical literacy assessment in basic chemistry courses with theme “water as a universal solvent”. The construction of this measuring instrument is adapted to the PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) problem’s characteristics and the Syllaby of Basic Chemistry in KKNI-Indonesian National Qualification Framework. The PISA is a cross-country study conducted periodically to monitor the outcomes of learners' achievement in each participating country. So far, studies conducted by PISA include reading literacy, mathematic literacy and scientific literacy. Refered to the scientific competence of the PISA study on science literacy, an assessment designed to measure the chemical literacy of the chemistry department’s students in UNP. The research model used is MER (Model of Educational Reconstruction). The validity and reliability values of discourse questions is measured using the software ANATES. Based on the acquisition of these values is obtained a valid and reliable chemical literacy questions.
