MU`JAM `ARABĪ DAN URGENSINYA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB DI PERGURUAN TINGGI AGAMA ISLAM
Among the latest problems encountered in the Arabic teaching in Islamic University is the poor ability of students in comprehending Arabic texts, either classic or contemporary ones. This is not only caused by the insufficiency of student ability in understanding sentence structure, but also the scantiness vocabulary mastery. The use of mu’jam ‘arabi as one of the language learning methods is very important. Unfortunately in Islamic university, there is no exclusive Arabic encyclopedia. PASAR SYARI'AH DAN KESEIMBANGAN HARGA
The market is an economic indicator of a country. In the concept of a modern economic, market mechanism is largely determined by supply and demand. But long time ago the classical moslem scholars such as Abu Yusuf, Yahya ibn Umar, Al-Ghazali, Ibn Taymiyya and Ibn Khaldun had voiced several factors that help forming a market mechanism, and also about the government policy in order to market intervention and price regulation. In the normal economic circumstances, the government is not justified to interfere to determine prices and affect the market mechanism. But when the monopoly practices (ihtikar), hoarding (iktinaz), political dumping (siyasah al- ighraq), and various fraud committed by marketeer, the government is proposed to control the prices in order to achieve the benefit of the people. This article comparatively tries to observe the past opinions of Moslem economists about market behavior in accordance with the sharia and the creation of price stability
KOMPETENSI LULUSAN FAKULTAS TARBIYAH DALAM MENGHADAPI PASAR GLOBAL
Nowadays, after free trade area has openned, the alumni of higher education (including Tarbiyah Faculty) have to win the competition from other higher institutions alumni by having high competence in their field of study. They must have good knowledge on their field and be skillful. The additional skills that are necessary to face the global competition are having foreign language competences (English and Arabic), mastering computer/internet, having high working ethic, being able to work in team, and being able to express themselves. To develop the main competences is the duty of department, while, the additional one is the duty of faculty. If the alumni do not have any additional competences, they will be difficult to get a job. They will be jobless because of their incapability to compete with others.

IMPLEMENTASI KONSEP TA’DĪB DALAM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM UNTUK MEWUJUDKAN SISWA YANG BERKARAKTER
The concept of education according to Islamic perspective, whether formal, informal, or non formal education, basically not only intended to give students knowledge or skills, but also to make them having social and spiritual quotients. It is that will make them to be excellent persons (insÄn kÄmil). According to the philosophy of islamic education there are three terms denote the meaning of education i.e tarbiyah, ta’lÄ«m and ta’dÄ«b. The last term is more appropriate to use, since covers knowledge and values to be transfered to students
PEMANFAATAN MEDIA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI SEKOLAH
In teaching learning process, teachers have to use some media of instruction. They have to be able to select appropriate media with the concept that they want to teach. In biology, especially the concept of biodiversity, the teacher should explain and introduce the students to various plants available around them including herb plants. It will be one of solution for a teacher to achieve an optimum goal if they can use the diverse plant around them. The successful of learning especially in the field of biology can be seen from cognitive, affective and psychomotoric aspects which is hoped to be achieved if the teachers as educators can guide their students to know about the plants in the field
TUGAS GURU SEBAGAI PENGEMBANG KURIKULUM
Teacher as a curriculum developer has to be able to translate, explain and transform the values involved in the curriculum to his/her students. To develop the curriculum, a teacher can do the following activities, they are: planning, implementing and evaluating the curriculum. Through planning the curriculum, the teacher can predict what he/she want to achieve in the learning process. After planning, he/she should implement it. There are some steps the teacher can do in teaching such as preparing his/her students, explaining the material, assessing students and getting feedback to know the successful of teaching
QUO VADIS DESENTRALISASI PENDIDIKAN DI INDONESIA Tinjauan Historis, Orientasi dan Reformulasi Desentralisasi Pendidikan
Desentralization in education is a relatively new discourse in Indonesian national education. The contemporary political issues and indonesian government system, which is still searching for an ideal form of education after the falling down of the post-new order sentralistic government system, contribute to raise of this concept. Decentralization appears to be an alternative solution in managing a national education of Indonesia. It is expected that there will be more room for stakeholders through applying decentralization of education. Ideally, the desentralisation of education is intended as a commitment manifestation of policy makers on education in order to empower stakeholders, it is also to increase the accessibility and relevancy of education. The application of desentralization concept is can not be separated from political and sociological based-factors. This paper analyses the history and foundation of desentralization concept and it also analyses the problems that it causes
