Difficulté diagnostique d’une tuberculose laryngée isolée chez une femme diabétique

    Get PDF

Taxonomic revision of the genus Scorpiurus L. (Fabaceae)

The morphological and anatomical characteristics of different parts were utilized to reassess the taxonomic status in Scorpiurus L. species naturally growing in Egypt. There were significant differences among the studied species of plants and hence the results clearly showed two distinct species. Based on the studied morphological and anatomical differences S. muricatus L. is differentiated into three different varieties. These are muricatus L., laevigatus (Sibth. & Sm.) Boiss. and subvillosus (L.) Fiori. An artificial key to both species and varieties are provided

Rancang Bangun Sistem Distribusi Hasil Produksi Obat untuk Menjamin Kualitas dalam Meningkatkan Pelayanan Pelanggan

Pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia that are engaged in manufacturing currently continue to develop, they process medicinal ingredients into pharmaceuticals, such as tablets, syrup, capsules and others. At present the distribution and production management system of drugs is still semi-computerized, because it still uses Ms. Excel, which can cause file-to-file buildup, besides that it is possible that the data will be lost or damaged, and when searching for data, it takes a long time. To overcome this need to be built a system to process the drug distribution and production management system, to help companies more easily access drug data to computerized travel documents, so as to increase the effectiveness and time efficiency, and get maximum work results and data accuracy in data input in the relevant section. It certainly can be found with various methods that use penuls, starting from the use of uml to provide an overview of system design, then MySql as a data processing application in thedatabase, as a programming language using php

Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Game Puzzle Berbasis Android Menggunakan Algoritma Decision Tree

The development of games today is very rapid and has become part of the lifestyle. A puzzle game is an application that can be used to hone thinking and memory skills where users have to find a way out and collect special items that have been provided at every level of the game . The player must collect all the white orb in each level to get the key to move to the next level but the player will be confronted by the constraints on how to find the key and retrieve it . The game is designed using decision tree and game algorithms designed using Game Maker Studio that is applied to Android devices

The structural properties of (Ag-NPs) nanoparticles prepared by the chemical method were examined using (XRD) diffraction. Additionally, the optical properties were tested using a UV-Vis spectroscopy instrument, and a scanning electron microscope was used to analyze the surface morphology, We found that (Ag-NPs) nanoparticles have the highest absorbance at wavelengths of (400)nm and that the granular size of these material ranges between (29 – 89)nm. And The morphology analysis further revealed that (Ag-NPs) particles are spherical in shape

Systemic sclerosis in a patient with pityriasis rubra pilaris

    Get PDF
Pityriasis rubra pilaris (PRP) is a rare, chronic erythematous squamous disorder of unknown etiology. It has been found in association with several autoimmune diseases, including thyroiditis, myositis, myasthenia gravis and vitiligo. Herein we report a case of systemic sclerosis in a patient with classic adult pityriasis rubra pilaris. A 38 year old woman with classic adult type 1 pityriasis rubra pilaris (PRP) developed progressive skin thickening of the trunk, face, upper and lower extremities after 2 years of PRP treatment with topical emollients and steroids. Clinical examination and immunological findings were consistent with SSc. Co-existence of these two rare conditions is documented for the first time

Proportioning manufactured sand in flowable concrete

    Get PDF
Manufactured sand has started to be used in concrete due to its availability and low cost. However, it has different shape properties, gradations, and mineralogy in comparison to the natural sand, and these differences can impact the performance of the concrete. This work quantifies the shape properties of manufactured sands and natural sands using sophisticated tests such as the AIMS II and more practical lab tests such as the Uncompacted Voids Content (ASTM C1257 -Method A). A correlation between these two measurements is presented. Next, concrete mixtures are proportioned with different amounts and gradations of manufactured sand at a variety of paste volumes, and their influence on the concrete workability is measured. Adjustments are also made to the Tarantula Curve Mixture Design tool to accommodate the different characteristics of manufactured sands in a concrete mixture for flowable concrete that must be finished. Further, this work investigates the impacts of manufactured sand on the pumping pressures. The workability and pumping pressure for three different manufactured sand sources and one natural sand are compared. Recommendations are made for the usage of manufactured sand in pumpable concrete mixtures. Also, the fine sand content and the combined uncompacted voids content of blended fine aggregates (natural sand and manufactured sand) are shown to be significant for concrete pumpability. Further, suggested changes are made to the fine sand content minimum limit on the Tarantula Curve to be 27% to keep pumping pressures manageable
