The Author of this article departs from the assumption that the current public debate is filled with
varied social, cultural and communicative phenomena. The paper offers a preliminary description
of the field comprising advice, tips, recommendations, indications and guidebooks. Moreover, it
looks at the possibilities (strategies) of interdisciplinary description of therapeutic discourse as well
as associated speech genres
