V příspěvku jsou nastíněny potíže, jež vznikly v průběhu několikaleté práce nad Česko-ukrajinským právnickým slovníkem. Mezi největší nesnáze, které se vyskytly, byl výběr odpovídajícího ekvivalentu ze synonymické řady. Dále byly analyzovány hyperonymické a hyponymické vztahy mezi právními termíny, paronymie či homonymie. Značné nesnáze byly spojeny i s překladem cizojazyčných slov a internacionalismů.In the paper there are outlined difficulties that arose during several years of creating the Czech-Ukrainian Law Dictionary. Among the biggest troubles belonged the choice of the right equivalent from the synonym line. Further, there were analyzed hyperonymic and hyponymic relations between legal terms, paronymy and homonymy. Other challenges were connected to translation of foreign-language words and international words
