The near equality between the measured value for β£Vubββ£/β£Vcbββ£ and its
unitarity triangle lower bound from sin2Ξ² measurements suggests that
Ξ±β90β and sinΞ³βcosΞ²=0.91 and a
large direct CP violation in B decays would be possible. In this talk, I would
like to discuss a recent analysis of the non resonant and resonant CP asymmetry
for the decays BββΟ+ΟβKβ and BββK+KβKβ where the CP
asymmetry at the Οc0β resonance comes from the interference of the non
resonant amplitude with the resonant amplitude BΒ±βΟc0βKΒ±βΟ+ΟβKΒ± and BΒ±βΟc0βKΒ±βK+KβKΒ±.
Using the the Babar and Belle measurements of the BββΟc0βKβ
branching ratios, we predict that partial width asymmetry at the Οc0β
resonance could reach 10% for the BββΟ+ΟβKβ decay and 16% for
the BββK+KβKβdecay.Comment: Invited talk at the Workshop on the CKM Unitarity Triangle, IPPP
