We review some selected rare B decays calculated in next-to-leading order
accuracy in the Standard Model (SM). These include the radiative decays B→(Xs,K∗,ρ)γ and the semileptonic decays B→(Xs,K,K∗)ℓ+ℓ−, for which new data from the BABAR and BELLE collaborations have been
presented at this conference. SM is in agreement with the current measurements
within the theoretical and experimental errors. The impact of rare B-decays on
