Contribution to "Rencontres de Moriond, QCD and hadronic interactions", Les Arcs, France, March 2002After the nal end of data taking at LEP, the four ollaborations ontinue to analyze the large amount of data olleted until Nov. 2000. The experiments have published preliminary [6℄ and nal [5℄ results of the searhes for the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson within a few months after the LEP shutdown. The ombination of these results prefers the presene of a signal with a mass of about 115.6 GeV/2 , mainly due to an exess seen in the ALEPH data in that region. More individual nal results are available now, as well as a number of updates and searhes in dierent hannels and models.
