Abstract
RESUMEN. El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar una revisión de la literatura existente sobre gestión
de calidad en el contexto del turismo, sintetizando y estructurando el conocimiento existente,
como paso previo para detectar posibles líneas de investigación futuras. Nuestra revisión se
centra principalmente en los estudios sobre sistemas de calidad desde una perspectiva de
gestión, un enfoque que entendemos va a permitir identificar aspectos interesantes que no
han sido suficientemente investigados en los estudios realizados hasta la fecha.ABSTRACT. The objective of this paper is to carry out a review of the quality literature in the tourism
context in an effort to synthesize and structure existing knowledge and offer suggestions for
future research in the field. We mainly focus our review on management studies, written in
the context of quality management and having a broad quality management perspective, an
approach that should help to identify interesting aspects which we feel have not been sufficiently
treated in the research carried out to date
