Neste artigo faz-se um breve comentário à arquitectura da igreja de Nossa Senhora
de Guadalupe, Ponte, Mouçós, Vila Real. Comenta-se também a pintura mural da
sua capela-mor, tentando identificar o seu encomendador e possíveis fontes iconográficas
que poderão ter influenciado a figuração da Árvore de Jessé na parede fundeira
da capela-mor.This article analyses the architecture and the wall-paintings of the church of Nossa
Senhora de Guadalupe, Ponte, Mouçós, Vila Real, trying to identify both the patron
and the iconographic sources which could have influenced the depiction of the Tree
of Jesse
