This paper presents the design and
development of RF subsystems to be used in new
broadband interactive systems such as Multipoint Video
Distribution Systems (MVDS), in the 40 GHz band,
which leads to deal with very innovative and challenging
designs. Such a high frequency band implies the employ
of MMIC technology, requiring specific assembly
methods as well as proper housing. The designed
subsystems jointly with the achieved results during the
characterization are summarized in the document
