Patients underwent 24-2 perimetry (SITA standard; Humphrey FieldAnalyzer; Zeiss), SD-OCT (Spectralis; Heidelberg Engineering) and PERG (RolandConsult ). PERG was performed with 100% of contrast, reverse pattern in black-and-white with stimulus height of 4 cm. Automated individual layers and the summation oflayers from the SD-OCT were checked for proper segmentation and plotted using theaverage of the sectors from the ETDRS Grid circles (diameters: center 1mm, inner circle3mm, outer circle 6mm). Statistical analysis was performed using generalizedestimating equations to allow for cluster observations and Spearman Rho forcorrelations.Results : 72 eyes (45 subjects) quali ed for the study. The mean age was 64.4±14.5. Thenumber of eyes in each group was: 11 in the control group and 61 in the glaucomagroup respectively. Controls and glaucomatous eyes had signi cantly di erent PERG,mean deviation (MD), retinal nerve  ber layer (RNFL) and parameters from inner retina,except for inner nuclear layer (table 1). MD, RNFL and macular parameters, except forinner nuclear layer (outer ETDRS grid circle) and outer plexiform layer (inner and outerETDRS grid circles), were signi cantly associated with PERG (table 2).Conclusions : Objective functional evaluation with PERG demonstrated to besigni cantly associated with the inner layers of the macula measured with SD-OCT.These layers are usually involved in glaucomatous neurodegenerative damage.Longitudinal studies evaluating the structure-function correlation between theseparameters are needed to determine their impact on glaucoma clinical decisions.This abstract was presented at the 2019 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Vancouver,Canada, April 28 - May 2, 2019. tm/View Original Download SlideTable 1  /View Original Download SlideTable 2This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives4.0 International License./
