Desde el 2018 inicié un desafío teórico-metodológico al proponer estudiar la relación entre placer y dolor, dentro de una comunidad BDSM en Bogotá, Colombia; cómo la construyen y qué relaciones están inmersas dentro de esta construcción conjunta. Igualmente me propuse entender el cuerpo y la experiencia de estos practicantes como un diálogo constante entre biología y cultura, en donde no hay omisión de ninguna parte de estos campos, pues el objetivo era entender estas experiencias particulares en un sentido más amplio y desde sus propias perspectivas. Esto lo hago mediante la triangulación metodológica entre la Antropología y la Neurociencia social en donde la electrofisiología y la etnografía son centrales en mi investigación y se convierten en una propuesta para un análisis más eficaz de la interpretación de datos cuantitativos por medio de los cualitativos.Since 2018 I started a theoric-methodologic challenge when proposing to study the relationship between pleasure and pain inside of a BDSM community in Bogotá, Colombia; how they build it and which relationships are immersed inside of this joint construction. Either way I proposed myself to understand the body and the experience of this practitioners as a constant dialogue between biology and culture, where there's no omission of any part of this fields, as the objective was to understand this particular experiences in a larger sense and from their own perspectives. This I do it through methodological triangulation between Anthropology and Social Neuroscience where the electrophysiology and ethnography are corner stone in my investigation and they become a proposal for a more effective analysis of the interpretation of quantitative data via qualitative mediums.Antropologo(a)Pregrad
