I hope you're well in these strange times.  Life is certainly upended, and let us at EESknow if we can help you or any of your fellow EES majors facing uncertainty.I'm still on leave but trying to pitch in a little bit with prospective students, one of many facets of UMaine that has beendisrupted.  Since we'll have no in-person events this term, I've got some ideas to provide prospective students with theinformation they need this spring.  And here's where you come in, with details about these ideas:1.  Admissions would like to put together a video for EES.  The material I would like to supply for them is as follows:- Short bits of video-- Here's where I'm asking for something new.  If you're comfortable, please take a few minutesand record yourself introducing yourself as you would for a prospective student event (name, year,concentration, home state, favorite EES experience, <30 secs).  In different recordings, please also recordshort (<1 min) responses to 1-2 of the following questions we often receive from prospective students:  - Will I spend a lot of time in the field as an EES student?  - What kind of jobs can I get as an EES student?  - What kind of jobs can I get after earning a B.S. in EES?  - What is there to do on campus?  - What is it like to live at UMaine?  - What advice do you have for incoming EES students?Phone video is fine as long as it's reasonably clear. So, all told, I'm hoping you'll upload a few photos and 2-3 shortvideo clips of you into this folder.  If you're not comfortable with this, I understand, just let me know.- Photos (lower priority)-- of classes (field and lab), students on the job (on or off campus, environmental-sciencerelevant), and anything else to do with campus life (a club you're in, e.g. thinking of you Tristan and the D+D club, thatAcadia hike you went on with friends).  Please take a few minutes and drop a few photos that meet the spirit ofwhat I've described and showcase life at UMaine (that we don't already have) and in EES in this folder.Please do each of these things as soon as possible, and ideally before next Monday, 3/30.  No need to spend aton of time on this, just 5 minutes on dropping in some photos if you have them handy and <20 on the video clips(leaving plenty of time for retakes!).2.
