This position paper outlines a research program for theIxD Research Group at the IT University ofCopenhagen. As such, it presents a range of questionsaddressing different corners of the question of time inIxD from the point of view of HCI, social interaction,material expressions, and software development.Our ongoing investigation of Interaction Design for aGood Life (http://itu.dk/IxDLab/) has uncovered abroad diversity of perspectives on how to unpack ‘agood life’ through research and design, and indeedwhat constitutes a good life to begin with. Through ourinvestigations, time has surfaced as pivotal to ourbudding understanding of elements of a good life and auseful framing for future investigations. Time is also animportant topic for interaction design, because it is atthe core of interaction, the practice of design, and, inmany ways, our use and relationships withtechnological artifacts.
