Use of radio base stations to provide ancillary services to the DSO through local flexibility markets

Abstract

The changes in the energy sector require an appropriate coordination between transmission systems operators (TSOs), distribution systems operators (DSOs) and aggregators. The project SmartNet aims at defining and comparing different TSO-DSO coordination schemes, by implementing dedicated analyses in Italy, Denmark and Spain.
