Abstract
The purpose of the article is to describe the cultural diversity of
employees as a challenge in the work of international managers. In an
international professional environment, every manager should have high
intercultural competence. It is openness and sensitivity to other cultures,
quick adaptation in various cultural realities, and the ability to effectively
manage multicultural teams. For many managers, however, cultural diversity
is still a big challenge.The first part of the article refers to challenges in
modern human resource management. Then the concept of multiculturalism
is explained. The following sections describe the features and skills of
international managers and intercultural management as an important
element of their work. The last part of the article describes the managers
