Culture assimilator in polish glottodidactics. Proposals of assimilators for Italians who learn polish language

Abstract

Praca ta opisuje historię i działanie asymilatora kulturowego – jednej z technik nauczania międzykulturowego. Przedstawiono w niej również nowy, autorski model pracy z tą techniką, uznając jej dotychczasową formę za ograniczającą i mało skuteczną. Ten nowy model składa się z pięciu etapów: lektury tekstu; grupowej analizy warstwy merytorycznej tekstu; pytania o odbiór tekstu skierowanego do rodzimych użytkowników kultury; konfrontacji rozbieżności w odbiorze tekstu; wniosków i podsumowania pracy z asymilatorem kulturowym.Głównym celem pracy było utworzenie konkretnych pomocy dydaktycznych dla Włochów uczących się języka polskiego jako obcego: opracowano trzy asymilatory, gotowe do zastosowania podczas kursów języka i kultury polskiej. Aby móc je stworzyć, przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe wśród 33 Włochów na temat włosko-polskich różnic kulturowych.The thesis describes the history and use of culture assimilator - one of the intercultural teaching techniques. It also proposes a new, original model of working with this technique, because its current form has been recognized as limiting and not effective. The new model consists of five stages: reading text of the culture assimilator; group analysis of the text; question about the reception of the text addressed to native representatives of the aim culture; analysis of differences in the perception of the text among two cultures; conclusions and a summary of the work with the culture assimilator.The main aim of the thesis was to create a specific teaching aids for Italians who learn polish as a foreign language: three culture assimilators have been created and they are ready for use during courses of Polish language and culture. To be able to create them, a survey regarding cultural differences between the Poles and Italians has been conducted on the 33 Italians
