1997 Undergraduate Commencement Program

Abstract

Program for the 146th Undergraduate Commencement of Santa Clara University that took place on Saturday, June 14, 1997. Program includes lists of speakers and degrees with awardees as well as list of University Awards with name and explanation of award and person receiving it. Also includes short essay titled 'The Academic Tradition' which describes various types of commencement attire worn by graduates and display of banners and short essay titled 'The Santa Clara Heritage' which describes the early history of the mission and university.
