Advances in wireless technology increasethe number of mobile device users and give paceto the rapid development of e-commerce. In thistechnology, web services become very popularand used to communicate over the World WideWeb’s HyperText Transfer Protocol.In this paper, alocation-based mobile system for Android devicesis proposed. The proposed system allows a user tofind the positioning of pharmacy where has thedrugs, he want to be purchased via a mobile. TheGeo-position of the user’s mobile device providesto produce location information of this proposedsystem. The flow of the proposed system is whenuser searches a medicine item, the systemidentifies the pharmacy location and searches theclosest local pharmacy using Haversine Formula.After that, to get the medicine items from eachlocal pharmacy with in stock information, theproposed system used Levenshtein Distance. TheLevenshtein Distance provides correct spellingwhen the user typed with wrong spelling. Then, thepharmacy location which the user wants to go andbuy can be viewed in the medicine item detailpage using Google Map. According to theexperimental results, the proposed system canachieve precise and minimum error in searchingprocess and provide listing result with thelocations of nearest pharmacy
