A Dynamic Replication for Periodic Transactions in Weather Forecast Data Distribution by ORDER-RS

Abstract

Many real-time applications need dataservices in distributed environments. Replication canhelp distributed real-time database systems meet thestringent time requirements of applicationtransactions. In this system, we present a dynamicreplication control algorithm, On-demand Real-timeDecentralized Replication with Replica Sharing(ORDER-RS), designed for distributed real- timedatabase systems. In the propose system, the weatherforecast data replicas are dynamically created uponthe requests by the incoming transactions and theirupdate frequencies are determined by the datafreshness requirements of these transactions
