Theory of electron spectroscopies in strongly correlated semiconductor quantum dots

Abstract

Quantum dots may display fascinating features of strong correlation such as finite-size Wigner crystallization. We here review a few electron spectroscopies and predict that both inelastic light scattering and tunneling imaging experiments are able to capture clear signatures of crystallization.Comment: LaTeX2e + World Scientific style (file ws-ijmpb.cls needed for compilation), 10 pages, 3 postscript figures.
