Firearm Use in Violent Crime in the U.S. and Alaska, 1985-2012

Abstract

This fact sheet presents national and statewide statistics from the FBI's Uniform Crime Reports program on the use of firearms in the commission of three violent crimes β€” homicide (murder and nonnegligent homicide), robbery, and aggravated assault β€” in the U.S. and Alaska from 1985 to 2012.
