MODELO PARA LA GESTIÓN INTEGRADA DE LOS PROCESOS EN UNIVERSIDADES

Abstract

The study of the evolution of the management allowed to observe that "to plan, to organize, to regulate and to control" to obtain superior results were not only functions for lucrative organizations that have as objective to maximize the incomes, and they are also a necessity in the universities, institutions in charge of preserving, develop and promote the culture of the society, through the development of the formation, investigation and extension processes, with the goal of achieving the excellence and the satisfaction of the society. That’s why the efficient and effective management of these institutions constitutes a necessity in the current context, in which the society requires an excellence university, flexible and consequent with the changes that are generated in the environment. In the article it is carried out the study of fourteen models of university management and it has as objective: to propose a model that reflects the variables and interrelations to consider for the integrated management of the processes in the universities.El estudio de la evolución de la gestión permitió observar que “planificar, organizar, regular y controlar” para obtener resultados superiores no eran solo funciones para organizaciones con fines de lucro, que tienen como objetivo maximizar los ingresos, sino que también son una necesidad en las universidades. Instituciones encargadas de preservar, desarrollar y promover la cultura de la sociedad, a través del desarrollo de los procesos de formación, investigación y extensión, con el objetivo de lograr la excelencia y la satisfacción de la sociedad. Es por ello que la gestión eficiente y eficaz de estas instituciones constituye una necesidad en el contexto actual, en el que la sociedad requiere de una universidad de excelencia, flexible y consecuente con los cambios que se generan en el entorno. En el artículo se realiza el estudio de catorce modelos de gestión universitaria y tiene como objetivo: proponer un modelo que refleje las variables e interrelaciones a considerar para la gestión integrada de los procesos en universidades cubanas
