Title : Women's Rights at Work: Between the Palestinian labor law and 
the demands of women's associations related to work from the point of 
view of Islam

Abstract 
This study examined the emergence of NGOs in the State of Palestine, and the factors of their 
emergence and objectives. The study also revealed the reality of NGOs in Palestine since its 
establishment on behalf of the Ministry of NGOs ending their transformation into NGOs  . 
The last two decades of the present century saw the increase in the number of women's 
associations operating in the northern governorates of Palestine, the diversity of their fields 
of work, and the increase in their demands on women's rights, despite the existence of the 
Palestinian labor law, This study deals with the "rights of women in employment: between 
the Palestinian labor law and the demands of women's associations related to work from the 
point of view of Islam." Discussing the nature of labor rights that require the imposition, 
amendment or deletion of women's non-governmental organizations operating in the 
northern governorates of the state Palestine, and its suitability to Islamic law, in the period 
between the years (1994 to 2015)..                                   
And the fact that many women in Palestine are not aware of the nature of their rights, 
whether they exist in the Palestinian labor law or that are demanded by women's 
associations, and to know the appropriateness of labor rights, as defined by the laws of the 
Palestinian National Authority , Which is claimed by women's associations of Islamic law. 
The problem of the study is that many working women do not know what their rights are, 
which leads to their exploitation by employers. I wanted to know the terms of the 
Palestinian work on women and to know the truth about the demands of women's 
associations regarding these rights and the position of Islam.Finally, in the fourth chapter of 
the study, the position of Islam on the work of women, CEDAW, 
And the demands of women's associations 
The preparation of this study was based on three approaches: historical, descriptive, and 
analytical. 
The study recommended the need to observe Islamic law, and the culture of society in 
providing ideas, and amendments demanded by women's associatio
