本稿は日本語OPIの会話をdialogue gameモデルによって分析し、その会話の構造をConversational Game Theory (CGT) の枠組みで検討するものである。 CGT理論は、会話の機能、「ゲーム」と呼ばれる発話の集合体、さらには発話者の意図などを含む発話の上位レベルからなる「会話の流れ」に焦点をあて、会話の構造分析を行なうアプローチに関心を持っている。例えば、CGT理論の枠組みで行なわれた日英の「地図課題対話コーパス」は、3つのレベルのダイアローグ構造があるという立場を取っている。このモデルでは、いくつかの発話からなるconversational movesの集合が次のレベルのdialogue gamesを構築し、それがさらに最上レベルのtransactionsを構成している。 本稿ではOPIの会話がCGT理論の枠組みでどのように捉えられ、その会話構造の特性がどのように分析できるかについて論じる。さらに汎言語的な方法論としての可能性を検討し、これにより他言語OPIの先行研究によって論じられてきた「OPIは自然な日常会話なのか」という問題を考察する
