Konfeksiyon ürünlerinde sağladığı rahatlık ve fonksiyonellik nedeniyle elastan lifleri tekstil sektöründe yaygın şekilde tercih edilmektedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında termofiksaj işlemi öncesi yapılması gereken yağ uzaklaştırma işleminde kullanılan yağ sökücülerin, elastan pamuklu kumaşın beyazlık derecesi, renk koyuluğu ve yüzey görünümlerine etkisi ile yağ söküm ve kaynar yıkama banyolarının absorbans değerleri incelenmiştir. Deney sonuçlarına göre bazik ortamda yapılan işlemin daha etkin olduğu belirlenmiştir.Elastane fibres have been used widely in textile sector due to providing/posses of comfort and functionality on textile materials. In this study; the effect of oil removals agents, which used in oil removal process before thermofixing, on whiteness degree, colour strength values and surface roughness of lycra blended cotton fabric were investigated and absorbance degrees of oil removal and rinsing bath were measured. The results of the analysis showed that, the oil removal process in alkaline medium was determined to be more effective than acidic condition
