Abstract
Günümüz dünyasında bilim ve teknoloji her geçen gün gelişmektedir. Bu gelişmeleri takip edebilmek için bilimsel bilgiye açık, düşünebilen, düşünürken sorgulayan, olayları ve sonuçları nedensel olarak analiz edebilen, eleştiren, çözüm üreten, farkındalığı yüksek bireylere olan ihtiyaç ve önem her geçen gün artmaktadır. Bütün bu üst düzey zihinsel becerileri kazandırmada önemli rol oynayan fen öğretimi ise eğitim sistemimizde önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu bağlamda da öğretim programlarında her geçen gün değişiklikler yapılarak çağa uygun bireyler yetiştirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ilkokul 3. sınıf fen bilimleri öğretim programında yer alan 'Yaşamımızdaki Elektrikli Araçlar' ünitesine yönelik araştırma sorgulama yaklaşımına uygun öğrenci ve öğretmen rehber materyalleri geliştirilerek bu materyallerin etkililikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada eylem araştırması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini, Artvin ilinin Murgul ilçesindeki bir devlet okulunda 3.sınıfta öğrenim gören 17 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat, yansıtıcı günlükler ve gözlem kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen nitel verilerin analizinde ise betimsel ve içerik analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda geliştirilen etkinliklerin, öğrencilerin bilimsel süreç becerilerinin gelişimine katkı sağladığı, fen dersine karşı ilgilerine olumlu etkisinin olduğu, araştırma ve sorgulama becerilerinin geliştiği; öğretmenlerin ise mesleki bilgi deneyimlerinin artarak geliştiği ve araştırma sorgulama yaklaşımını benimseyip uygulamalarına olumlu etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışma, fen bilimlerinin diğer üniteleri için araştırma sorgulama yaklaşımına uygun materyaller hazırlanıp etkililiklerinin araştırılması gibi önerilerle sonlandırılmıştır. In today's word science and technology is developing every day. To follow these developments, the need and the importance of scientific knowledge is increasing day by day so we need people who think, consider openly, question in thought, be able to analyse causally the events and consequences, criticize, produce solutions and have high awareness. Science education, which plays an important role in acquiring all these high level mental skills, has an important place in our education system. In this context it is aimed to educate individuals who are appropriate to the age by making changes in teaching programmes day by day. The study investigated the effectiveness of these materials by developing student and teacher guide materials suitable for the research inquiry approach of electrical vehicles unıt in our life science curriculum of 3rd grade. In this research action research method was used. The sample of the study consists of 17 students who are studying in the third grade in a public school in the municipal district of Artvin. As data collection tools, semi structured interviews, reflective logs and observation were used. In the analysis of the qualitative data obtained without working, descriptive and content analysis was used. It was determined that the activities developed at the end of the study contributed to the improvement of the students' scientific process skills, the positive effect on the science lesson, the improvement of the research and inquiry skills and the improvement of the professional knowledge experience and the positive effect on the research inquiry. The study was terminated with suggestions such as the preparation of materials suitable for research inquiry approach for other unıts of science and their effectiveness
