Abstract
La psicomotricidad es la psicología del movimiento mediante la cual entran en contacto cuerpo, mente y emociones. En décadas pasadas era asociada al conjunto de ejercicios para corregir alguna dificultad o discapacidad detectada en el individuo. En nuestros días esa visión ha cambiado y es uno de los puntos claves en la educación y el desarrollo integral; sobre todo en los primeros años de vida. Cuando un niño realiza una acción, ésta se encuentra directamente relacionada con el pensamiento y las emociones. Al hablar de psicomotricidad hacemos referencia a esas técnicas que debemos aplicar para que los niños tengan un mejor dominio sobre su propio cuerpo, a la vez que estimulan otras áreas del desarrollo como la física motora y la cognoscitiva. La importancia de la psicomotricidad en el desarrollo integral es el tema central sobre el cual se realiza la investigación, primeramente se ha procurado una revisión documental en relación al tema de estudio; a través de artículos, conjeturas y opiniones selectas, relacionadas al tema investigado, donde se manifiestan las bases científicas, fundamentos teóricos y las afirmaciones que se expresan durante la investigación. Se aplicó el test de Evaluación de los Patrones Fundamentales de Movimiento y se analizaron los resultados para aplicar la propuesta que consistió en desarrollar una estrategia metodológica basada en ejercicios orientados a mejorar los patrones motores con lo que se llegó al desenlace de la investigación y a las conclusiones.PALABRAS CLAVE: Psicomotricidad; desarrollo; integral; niños; patrones; motores.PSYCHOMOTRICITY IN THE INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHILDABSTRACTPsychomotricity is the psychology of movement through which the body, mind and emotions come into contact. In past decades it was associated with the set of exercises to correct any difficulty or disability detected in the individual. In our days, that vision has changed and is one of the key points in education and integral development; especially in the first years of life. When a child performs an action, it is directly related to thinking and emotions. When we talk about psychomotricity, we refer to those techniques that we must apply so that children have a better command of their own body, at the same time that they stimulate other areas of development such as motor and cognitive physics. The importance of psychomotricity in integral development is the central theme on which the research is carried out. Firstly, a documentary review has been attempted in relation to the subject of study; through articles, conjectures and select opinions, related to the investigated topic, where the scientific bases, theoretical foundations and the statements expressed during the investigation are manifested. The Assessment of Fundamental Movement Patterns test was applied and the results were analyzed to apply the proposal that consisted of developing a methodological strategy based on exercises aimed at improving motor patterns, leading to the outcome of the research and conclusions.KEYWORDS: Psychomotricity; development; integral; children; patterns; engines
