Abstract
The generic title “reflections on ITC from the perspective of the library” is a conscientious and present time reflexion in which we shall analyse some of the keys ofinformation and communication technology, digital reading, from a librarian’s perspective. We shall highlight, amongst other issues, ubiquitous mobility, big data, the concentration of power in the hands of a few, essential digital identity, and the need for constant learning. Thinking in and about ICT, from a librarian’s perspective.El presente artículo con el título genérico de “pensando en tic… desde la biblioteca” es una reflexión concienzuda y en tiempo presente en la cual se analizan algunas claves del mundo de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (tic), de la lectura digital, desde ojos bibliotecarios, destacando -entre otros- la ubicua movilidad, los big data, la concentración de poder en pocas manos, la esencial identidad digital y el necesario aprendizaje constante.
