The critical edition of Hamdullah b. Khayruddin Efendi's work "Fuyûd al-İtqan fi Wujuh al-Qur'an" and its evaluation from the perspective of Qur'an recitation science

Abstract

Tezimizde, Hamdullah bin Hayrettin Efendi'nin kıraat ilmine dair telif ettiği FUYÛZU'L-İTKÂN FÎ VÜCÛHİ'L-KUR'ÂN isimli eserini tahkik edip inceledik. İki ana bölümden oluşan tezimizin ilk bölümünde Hamdullah bin Hayrettin Efendi'nin hayatını ve eserlerini tanıttık. Hamdullah bin Hayrettin Efendi'nin kıraat ilminde âlim olmasının yanında edebiyat alanında eserlerinin olduğunu ve Ayasofya'da hatiplik görevini icra ettiğini gördük. İkinci bölümde FUYÛZU'L-İTKÂN FÎ VÜCÛHİ'L-KUR'ÂN isimli eseri değerlendirdik. Müellifin eseri, birçok kaynaktan yararlanarak şematik uygulama ile yazdığını belirttik. Ayrıca müellifin üç kıraat imamı جع يع خل rumuzlandırmasını ilk defa kulandığını ve sonraki dönemlere etkisinin günümüze kadar ulaştığını belirttik. Üçüncü bölümde ise bu kıymetli eserin tahkik edilmiş metnini verdik.THE CRITICAL EDITION OF HAMDULLAH B. KHAYRUDDIN EFENDI'S WORK "FUYÛD AL-ITQAN FI WUJUH AL-QUR'AN" AND ITS EVALUATION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF QUR'AN RECITATION SCIENCE Our thesis deals with the critical edition and evaluation of Hamdullah b. Khayruddin Efendi's work "Fuyûd al-Itqan fi Wujuh al-Qur'an". It consists of three main chapters. The first chapter deals with the life and works of Hamdullah b. Khayruddin Efendi. We discovered that Hamdullah b. Khayruddin Efendi, besides being a scholar of Quranic recitation, has also works in literature and is the khateeb/preacher of the Hagia Sophia mosque. In the second chapter, we have evaluated his work "Fuyûd al-Itqan fi Wujuh al-Qur'an". We have shown that the author wrote his work using many sources and with a diagrammatic application. We have also shown that the author used the abbreviations ( جع يع خل ) for the three scholars of recitation for the first time and that the affect is still seen today.
