At the moment it is best to followDUNN (l.c.) and take verruculosaasa variety of Ran(!,cancl'ivom.Seven specimensfrom Laora, April 1925.In one specimena vertebral band of the skin is bordered by broken-upridges whi'Chare darkly coloured.This gives the impression of a light vertebralband. The characters given by MERTENS (1930) todistinguish the sexes,proved to be quite sufficient. Two specimenswere foundto he females (eggs) the others were male. All the males had the flat h~meralgland and the tubercles on the hack. As follows from the table with themeasurementthe length of the fore-limb i,s'contained1.6-1.5X in the leng'thof head and body in the two females.In the males the total length is 1.6-J..3Xthe arm-length..Of the two females one is darkly coloured, the other one light grey.above.Two males are also darkly co!ouredabove.Two larvae were capturedat Mao-Marroe. The largest measuring56 millim.the second one 38 miHim. total -length.The distance betweenthe eyes is equalto that betweenthe nostrils and to the width of the mouth.
