Information System Design in Majoring the Interest and Talent of Productive Prospective Teacher of Informatics Education Students Using the AHP Method

Abstract. Determining the location of Teacher Training and Education Faculty studentplacement in the teaching practice (PPL) based on the competencies of students is veryimportant for the process of developing the skills of the students majoring inInformatics Education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP)asproductive teacher candidates. This is important for the suitability of the competenciesof students with the competencies possessed by the school where the studentsdoteaching practice. To facilitate the lecturers who are the committee for theimplementation of teaching practice activities in determining the location of thestudents teaching practice, a decision support system is needed combined with theAnalytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This system will process students’ valuedata from the beginning of the semester in each subject to get the competency of thestudents. The system also processes school data along with the competencies the schoolhas to get the percentage of priority that is used as the basis for the placement of Facultyof Teacher Training and Education students. By placing the students in a school whosecompetencies are in accordance with the students’ competencies, the students areexpected to be able to develop skills as an educator and can use the technological skillsthey have more maximally
