ResumenEl miedo caracteriza la situación de confinamiento a nivel global que ha supuesto la pandemia por el coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Pero, junto al miedo, también han aparecido valores como la responsabilidad individual y colectiva y la conciencia del bien común, que pueden ser útiles para construir el nuevo mundo que nazca de esta circunstancia tras esta crisis histórica. El autor defiende en el texto que no se debe renunciar a la globalización en aras de políticas nacionalistas, pero que hay que redefinir la globalización con un nuevo concepto de justicia social.Palabras clave: Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
