Before you started on your journey with Professor Sargent, you were good enough to say that you might be inclined to write some articles about the journey for the Atlantic. We hope very earnestly that the time has now come when you will . feel like putting together your notes and allowing the readers of this magazine to share something of the pleasure which the journey must have afforded you.I know that you hate to write under the compulsion of an insistent editor but we feel here that you have many things to say which no other living man can say equally well, and we shall feel very keenly disappointed if you do not persuade yourself to gird up your loins for this particular task.
