The heat treatments have great influence on the management of the properties of alloys. For this reason the preparation of the adequate technology of the process for different kinds of pieces depends on different factors of which carefull specification createsnthe possibility of a satisfactory process.In a field of research of new technologies o fheat treatments, the project of the gyratory salt stoves is seen in its general characteristics as a great advance in this kind of process. The reasons are as follows:• The gyratory mechanism developed in the project allows an improvement in the unformity of heating of the treated pieces through their total mass.• The intensity is improved compared with the classical types of salt stoves.• During the process there are no pre-heating zones because pieces are turned around inside the heating bath.• The time of heating is shorter due to a high heat-transerence, which is increased througt graduated agitation of the treated pieces.• The process offers an altemative that compensates the additional cost of the gyratory mechanism, thanks to versatility of the operation as well as a noticeable energy savings which comes as a result of good uniformity heating in the moveable salt-bath.• The equipment provides a very good quality of service (function) in a very easy and safe way. The equipment is ecologically safe.
